I have been with Chaffey for thirty-two years. I have never had any problem that couldn't be resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. Chaffey seems to care about their customers and the problems that arise. I wouldn't go elsewhere. They are caring people who do a good job, and I have never heard anyone say anything differently. They get five (5) Stars from me. Satisfied, Mike Jones

CASH deposit at Chaffey ATM, 8 days later I still can't access it. Credit Union says they can see it in the system but will have to wait until released ... Excuse me but wait for CASH to be cleared??? This isn't a check ...Now I plan to take my business elsewhere. Sorry but when I don't get service in a reasonable time, I go to where I can get service in a reasonable time. Oh they will probably give me an excuse that 'our policy states"... Well my policy states "when not treated reasonably, go to a competitor" photo is from top of recipt

More than 10 years ago I wrote my review of the credit union. I was very happy then and decided it's time to reassess. Over the years I've had some headaches, debit cards getting compromised and needing to be replaced, cards being declined because the travel note I placed fell through the cracks. But I cannot overstate how much I love this credit union. They are always there and they always treat me like a person, like I have value. Whenever I've had a problem I've called Sandy, now VP of Operations. She has never failed to solve my problem quickly and get me what I need. But Sandy and Branch Manager Albert recently wowed me even more. My 28 year old daughter's car died recently. Despite her efforts to build credit her credit report was literally a blank page. She needed a car and had no way to get one. Her father helped her look but this is the absolute worst time to buy a car. And arranging financing at these small dealers could easily be called loan-sharking. I called Sandy to see if she had any advice. Less than two minutes after I started my story she exclaimed, "have her get online and apply for a loan through us!" Did I mention my daughter didn't have a credit union account? So the next day my daughter and I went to the credit union because I'm a big believer in face to face interactions. We met with Albert, the Branch Manager. He seemed to genuinely want to help my daughter, but I never imagined how much they would help. She had to open an account, of course. Then they gave her a credit card with a decent limit and approved her for a loan for more than she wanted to spend. Even better, he told her that in six months they'd run her credit and as long as everything looked good they could significantly lower her interest rate! Bottom line, they saw my daughter and see all their customers, old and new, not as digits in a spreadsheet but as people with potential. I'm never changing banks as long as I'm in California.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place for your banking needs. Be aware that when one of the joint account holders pass away and upon the credit union discovering the death, they will clear out the account to pay any secured loan(s) without notifying the other joint account holder that the joint account is closed. This means that any other linked accounts to the bank account is immediately severed leaving the other half of the joint account to scramble to make sure all linked debts are current. In regards to a car loan they also immediately issue a repossession order, even though a car loan is current. This is not normal practice for other credit unions that I have consulted with. No death certificate was even issued. In other words, their priority is their banking and not customer service. This is evident with Nancy, the Chief of Operations for Collections, who chastised us for not notifying them sooner about our family member's death and having no empathy for the situation. When we asked Jennifer in the collections department who was above Nancy, she said no one. I thought the CEO would be in charge. I see that everyone says the frontline staff is nice, but when it comes to the back office stuff, it becomes a different story. The new CEO Diane K. and consumer loan Manager, Sal G. have resolved our issue and have been sensitive to our needs. I appreciate them reaching out to rectify the situation. With Diane K. now in charge I am hopeful that further reviews from other customers will be positive.

Very poor customer service. They charge $28.00 overdraft fees (they call it Courtesy fee, lol) do even if you have money in your savings and have overdraft set up. It's misleading, you can only use the overdraft 6x's in a month. Ridiculous!! I called because I had my account less than two weeks, and was charged almost $500.00 in courtesy fees even though I had the money in my Savings and had overdraft setup, I called and was promised a call back and email from a manger, and nothing! So I unprofessional. I do not recommend this bank, go to Schools First or some other Credit Union as we have a choice. I am a school teacher for one of the the schools in Rowland Unified and will not be recommending this bank to anybody at all!
