I am not a person that write reviews but this situation calls for one. If I could give this place no stars I would. In the beginning I put my trust in this storage unit when I had to move out of my apartment and find a place to store my items. I have showed up on several occasions to check on my things after finding out only to find other people moving out as well because the same things happened to me. But I was told by Upland self storage hat this was the first time they have ever got a complaint about this and that I was the first person this has ever happened to. I am now getting ready to move and what do you know I show up to my unit only to find out that Upland Self Storage has had a rat infestation and there are rats that have been all in my stuff and damaged most of my things I had such as my dining room table, mattress and box spring. I filed a claim with them because with my monthly payments I was also paying for insurance. I have been in communication with the storage company to try and get a status on my claim and there's never no answer for me. They can't provide me proof that it was sent to who it needed to be sent to and they also can't provide me with a reference number or anything. All they can do is tell me thats its been sent and how much times its been which I very well aware of. Beware with your things and check on them frequently. I will never allow my things to be stored here ever again.

The only thing that concerns me and I don't know if it changed but I remember when we used the storage in 2018 we were able to use the truck on moving in and moving out and now Julie the manager just told me it's only for moving in and 1 time per tenant. If we are paying for the storage we should be able to use it at least twice. I also think 645pm is too early to close the gates...they should expand it to 8pm.

Great storage solution near Claremont. One improvement would be an additional hour of evening access. The gate locks early at 6:45pm daily.

Amazing customer service from beginning to end!! They take the time yo explain the process and make you feel comfortable. Unit was very clean and easy to find.
