I was able to order 3 bags of mixed fried chicken. 8 pieces 9.99 each. It was for my daughter's birthday party. I was glad I was able to order 24 pieces short notice. Chicken was really good!

I like this store always clean and well stocked pricing is alittle higher then other stores but they have some good deals they have a nice deli and meat dept I'll be back

Bakery department is very unprofessional. When the ticket says " pick up at 6:30am", that does not mean start decorating the cake at 6:30am. Very disappointing. The baker was very professional but the decorator is a complete joke.

This is literally the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a Von's store. I "was" a loyal Von's shopper for as long as I can remember in other cities. This was my second time in the Upland Von's. I told the worker in charge of the checkout stands how disappointed I was with their customer service and that I won't be coming back. She literally stomped over to another young male manager and loudly mocked me saying "awe look (manager's name) we've lost a customer!" Then laughed at me as I walked out. The manager looked at me, shrugged and said "sorry," and continued chatting with his buddy. They both obviously could care less about customer service and how she inappropriately she treated Von's customers. No love loss, I'll shop at another grocery store. I don't need to give my money to ppl who treat me so horribly. Von's you might want to check out all the negative reviews of the Upland Vons. The Upland store and managers aren't a very good representation of your brand. The reviews are bad, your customers aren't happy. Probably should start listening.

You guys have to check or get rid of that annoying little bag boy. Carries a poor attitude. Even racially called a customer Muhammad cause he asked if a Wells Fargo was open but was clearly closed cause of the sign at the register . Some little white boy with short blonde hair between 18-20 I'm sure. Figure it out and deal with it or next time a customer will be the one to check his lame attitude. He carried that attitude with his own co workers too while he approached the register. Not the first time I've seen him carry that annoying attitude.

We went specifically for the fried chicken, it looked delicious. When we got home and opened the bag, it smelled horrible. The breading smelled the chicken was deep fried in rancid oil. It's so hot and humid outside we didn't return it, but I'll never buy any fresh food any Von's.

As I was checking out at the register today the bagger and checker were having a loud conversation. They were discussing free ranged chickens verses caged chickens. "Wouldn't you want your chicken to have been happy"? The checker says as she's scanning the roasted chicken I purchased. " Does is really matter since they are all waiting to die anyway" the other says. OMG! Please have a discussion with your employees about professionalism. I actually felt even more compelled to become vegan after that visit. I may never buy a chicken there again.

3 stars cause of the guy at self check out. My husband and I were scanning but the spot ever you place the item was getting full so we started bagging. We click skip bagging. When we were done the machine glitch the cashier came and scolded us saying that we aren't allowed to remove item. And stood their until we paid and took the receipt to check what we bought

I am a loyal customer to Vons, but more then once I have had issues with the very rude butcher there. He is down right rude and mean to customers!! This man needs to retire or be fired. I have gone to another grocery store just for my meats so I don't have to interact with this man! Vons management you need to train this butcher better and I was even more shocked to find out he is a manager!! I feel sorry for those work with this peach.

I ordered a tres leches cake on Thursday to pick up on Sunday, which I paid for ahead of time. I get a call the morning of Sunday from Vons bakery telling me they ran out of tres leches cake. Are you kidding me! They offered to replace it with another cake. Are you kidding me! What kind of bakery calls the morning of the party to tell them it's not available??? Horrible service! Don't order your cakes here.

Today 5/6/22 at 7:30 the lady there is rude and didn't want to make the drink the way I asked and it was really simple , I can see that they just want a straight forward drink . And telling me the way I want my drink doesn't make sense tell a customer that really rude I think . The whole family gets coffee from here and we no longer will . That lady was been rude before I think she is drinking too much coffee haha sorry but lighten off it lady at the Starbucks store

Okay okay... it seems that management did something about the fried chicken and switched out the people operating that department. Came back and I was pleasantly surprised especially the lady that helped me. Can't remember her name but I believe she was a brunette. Very helpful and suggested a potato salad on the side. Just because of her superior customer service, I went ahead and got me a side of potato salad. The management really did something about my comments previously and I am grateful that they listened and did something about it!! Vons has always been my go to place for groceries and the lot and they actually do care about their loyal customers. You can't really beat the quality at Vons and I will continually support them. Try the fried chicken!! It's actually fresh and juicy!!

Drive and go for The vons in upland I did an order from home and it went to this location and it charged me...I immediately called trying to cancel the whole time and it gives no number to contact it was ready for pickup and I don't know if they gave to anyone or not...but I spoke with the store and they assured me they would refund my money it's been 6 days and I haven't received my money back. Yet they can immediately take my money they can't immediately put it back tried to speak to manager NO response. Buyer beware don't know if it's just this store or not but I have ordered on other sites NEVER this problem. Will update if I get my money back or a reply...seeking advice

One register open, 23 people in line. This place has been going downhill rapidly since the current manager took over. It is desperately time to change the manager. In case they try to say I'm exaggerating, check the cameras at 6:59 p.m. on April 12th 2022.
