The branch in Vacaville is probably the worst branch and bank ever. Kristin that works there is absolutely the worst you could deal with. She has the worst customer service skills ever. I think this branch needs some training on their customer service skills. Thank god I don't bank with them.

Worst bank ever doesn't matter which office you go into entire bank is useless they don't want you to come in. They only want you to do everything online and they can't even keep their transactions straight.

If you have an hour for a simple deposit then this is your bank. The male teller is extremely rude and unprofessional. It's like customer service isn't the main job. Is very slow and shows a temper quickly when there's more work to be done. Hope BMO does better and finds better representation. I will for sure be closing my account now.

This bank branch is awful. I've been a customer with the bank they bought out Bank of the West for 20+ years. There is a man on their teller line who is absolutely rude as can be. Whenever my husband goes in to cash his check, he is in work clothes, he treats him like a criminal. The branches never answer their phones either. I would recommend moving your accounts if you currently have the misfortune to be their customer. Also, if you are of any other nationality you will probably be treated as "less than" which seems to be a common theme at this branch!

Complete nightmare. Decided to close when I found out when BMO bought them it's not just a Canadian company (still not okay) but also a Chinese company right now I'm not comfortable with any foreign country having access to my money. It took me from August 15 until September 27 to get the account t closed. The branch manager in Vacaville promised she would get the problem corrected and she never did I had to call the 800 number 3 times after I attempted to close it at the branch twice to get it closed

There has been 80% of the time the customer service is horrible maybe one or two employees actually have the skills of customer service and my bank account was closed due to the amount of fees that they charge which is ridiculous and the amount of time they give you in order to pay or take care of some of the fees it's ridiculous it really looks like it seems like they were charging me fees whenever they wanted to this is the main reason why I do not like to use banks I would suggest people even if you have millions or billions or trillions of dollars do not use Bank of the West think about the fees You might need them later on. I would like to also say it doesn't matter how much money I have how much money I'm going to have how much money I don't have these banks should not be charging these fees like that

This branch ever since Tracy has gotten involved has stayed moving and the best i've seen it in awhile! Andrea is super sweet as well, and gets the job done quick and easy! These two people are the only reason I keep coming to the Vacaville Bank of the West!

Hello , I'm here to give these women of bank of the west a Hugh compliment! Andrea. Tracy and Kim were OUTSTANDING ! I had a fraudulent situation with my bank account, and they saw me through. I really appreciate them coming to my rescue when we are vulnerable to scams and other unlawful activities that can lead us in a bind. Everyone needs a bank that have their back. What a clown outfit. Have a name change and every other bank/credit card sent me a form to fill out. NOT this bank..have to go into the branch..which was an absolute travesty. 3 bank tellers, NO customers, none can do the name change, have to meet with the bank rep. well the rep is busy with a client...5..10..15..20 minutes pass..then a teller says HE will not be done by noon (another 30 minutes) closing and need to come back. Tells me to call to set up an appt. Get the **** outta here. Horrible service.

This branch needs some serious attention. Most of the tellers are condescending and rude. My favorite is Laura, I walked into the branch last Saturday. She's discussing "Screwdrivers" and Vodka drinks 2 windows down with another teller, while I'm conducting my business. Joan helps me out often, I commend her for always going the extra mile for me, some of her co-workers need to follow her example. In a financial institution, during a national COVID 19 pandemic, people are on edge, anxious and concerned. The last thing I want, is to question the integrity and credibility of the tellers at my local branch, based on an inappropriate conversation they're having at the window. Thanks for your time!

Horrible bank, slow tellers, keep canceling my debit cards for no reason, takes weeks to get replacement, final straw was they cancelled a good card without notifying me , for no reason recieved replacement card a week later, had card for about 3 hrs , was notified a fraud alert from uber (i linked my card to uber a hr earlier) responded NO to potential fraud attempt , still cancelled my 3rd card within a month , never sent replacement, tried to contact 24hr customer service , automated system said they were closed , contact them mon-fri , really?? Never got my 4th card .. so went in told teller , she said " thats wierd" .. just close my acct now .. Pathetic bank , went to Golden1 .. a real bank .. manager Jennifer is such a professional.. glad to be back .. and bank of the weakest...

One star because going inside a bank branch is usually quick and painless. Everything else though...zero stars if I could. I am constantly being charged a monthly fee, that is supposed to be free with any deposit, which I have a few deposits a month. Then they like to hold checks until they can come up with some more BS charges, charge them, plus an overdraft fee and THEN deposit your check. Never fails anytime I am running low on funds and make a deposit it takes FOREVER to clear, but if I have money in my account the same deposit clears right away. They even have held CASH deposits before. When trying to call into customer service it's always "call volume...blah, blah...25 minute wait". If you try to contact them through chat online it will ask all your information and then kick you off and say no one is available. They barely have any ATM's in existence and have charged me $5 for using another ATM (even if ATM I am using doesn't charge me). So tired of being charged to death by this bank that is never available for customer service. In the process of switching to a new bank...they'll probably charge me $100 for closing my account or some other BS. After 12 months with them, they've gotten over $800 out of me, no thank you, I don't want to pay you for doing nothing for me!!

The Bank Manager is not a man of his word. I deposited a check through the ATM yesterday and my funds are still not available. I went in to the branch after waiting 30 minutes on the phone. I was on a time constraint and he told me that he would call me to let me know the status of my deposit. I haven't heard from him. So, I called the bank to check for funds..they still aren't available. The check I deposited is also drawn on that branch of Bank of the West so I can't imagine what the problem is and since I didnt get a call back, I still dont know.

The customer service is always outstanding! Any problem I have they fix it then and there. Their services are quick and painless to do unlike other banks who hassle you.
