We visited this Cold Stone last Saturday 11/4 around 7:50-8:30pm. It was a long line however it was a Saturday night so we had no issues waiting! Upon arrival we were greeted even though the place was packed. All employees were helping all of the waiting customers. There was one lady who was verbally attacking the staff with her family but the employees all remained calm and professional. I felt like no matter what solution they offered the lady it just wasn't good enough for her. I felt bad for the employees having to deal with an adult throwing a temper tantrum while they were so busy like that. There was also a separate line for online orders and door dashers! One man arrived exactly one minute before we entered the store and was so rude to the staff about how his order wasn't ready yet. He was like "I've been waiting for a whole two minutes what's taking so long" and kept showing his phone to all employees. Not sure why he is a door dasher if he lacks patience. Anyways, again employees remained professional and continued greeting new people upon arrival. Finally it was our turn! We ordered two customized ice creams which were fully packed and had a good amount of mix ins, the gentlemen helping us was extremely friendly and so was the young lady. They both asked us how our night is going and were extremely friendly! We sat down inside the shop and had our icecream! The tables were clean even though the were busy and they had good family music playing in the background. Overall I would rate our experience a 10/10. I applaud the employees for keeping there cool whilst dealing with a bunch of BS

I walk in around 8:50 pm and there are no other customers aside from one gentleman walking out with his order. It looked like the staff was preparing to close (they close at 9:30pm). An employee greets me and asks if I was picking up an online order or placing my order there. I tell her I would be ordering there. I also mention I would have 5 items to order. The same employee proceeds to tell the other employees several times that I had 5 orders (using a tone implying it was a large order that would lengthen their shift) and passes the task on to another employee. Two of my items were made. Meanwhile, several parties enter the store and a rush begins. I stood there waiting to finish my order while four parties behind us (not including online/mobile orders) had their orders taken and worked on before I could even finish giving my order. I saw five employees working on orders. I wouldn't have minded the wait had I not been initially greeted with the feeling of being a burden to the staff trying to close the store 40 minutes early. No one who works there cares. Don't waste your money there.

Purchased an ice cream cake. My son cut himself a huge piece. toward the end, he started gagging . The cake smelt and tasted like strong chemicals, possibly bleach.We sent family members a piece of the cake one which was a one year old . They to called complaining to me about cleaner smell/taste they are throwing up. I immediately took it back. Spoke with owner Rona she did not apologize,take accountability just got defensive, and stated they use no chemicals. She should definitely help herself to a slice of that cake cause there's chemicals 100% in it. Do not recommend this place!!!

***ATTENTION COLD STONE MANAGEMENT*** This review is on the service I experienced today alone. Tell me why my family of 4 waited 45 minutes for service?! It's 105 degrees today in Vacaville and we came to cold stone for some relief and a cold treat. There are 5 employees behind the counter and only 2 of them on the ice slab? After 30 minutes I finally asked one of the girls, why weren't the others helping this super long line? She advised that they were training. I witnessed at least 3 groups of people walk out because of the wait. The place was packed, at least 15 people in line and yet, they're "training"?!When I got to the front to pay for our ice cream, I asked the girl, Keona, if she was the manager as she was the one training the other employee. She said she was a shift lead. I asked her why she wasn't helping the line? She advised that she couldn't have the trainee just sitting there doing nothing. But you can have me waiting for 45 mins?! Cut the line down and then pick back up with training girl!Make it make sense! I told her that it's super frustrating as a customer to see only 2 people working and that today was a bad customer experience. She apologized and advised that she called everyone in and that her manager messed up on the scheduling for today. And that may be so, but you as the shift lead should have owned the fact that your customers were waiting way too long. We come first. Let that trainee jump in there. On the job training is the best way to learn. Also, Keona, professional tip - never throw your leadership under the bus. You represent cold stone so you are all one. I hope your manager reads this because if anything, today's experience is a direct reflection of how they trained you. They got to do better. Shout out to the two ladies working their hearts out. We appreciated your help even though you both looked like you couldn't stand your jobs. I sincerely miss the old cold stone service where they would sing and greet you and be smiling. My family LOVES cold stone but today's trip was disappointing. Fix it please!

Ice cream was great and the store was clean. I also noticed that the cashier named Katie was very patient with the lady in front of me. The women admitted to not knowing what size cake she wanted when making her order but demanded “some kind of refund” when she realized that the cake was too small upon pickup. Unfortunate that workers have to endure poor treatment but Katie handled the customer with a great amount of professionalism.

Young lady was not 100% understanding of what I was asking for the kiddos, gave the wrong flavors to most of them, & when I asked for a banana shake, I got a different flavor. This has been the 3rd time I have come here & it has not been a pleasant experience. I will stick to Baskin Robin's from here on out.
