Brought in my Browning Buckmark for a loose barrel! Turned out the screw holding it had broken?? He found a replacement screw and I got the pistol back the next day! Fast, expert, reasonable service. What more could you ask for. This is my go-to from now on.

Richard & his guys at Good shots are very friendly, knowledgeable and skilled at what they work on. When you absolutely need precise work this is the shop you want! I had Trijicon night sights put on my Springfield XD 9mm and there not easy to install, due to Springfield Armory pressing the factory sights into place. The guys did a fantastic job! I will definitely use these guys again & I have used other gunsmith's in the past & these guys are more knowledgeable, do a better job and there Friendly, which is a huge bonus in this day & age. Thanks guys!

I had Goodshots thread and install a muzzle break on my deer rifle. The work was flawless and they turned it around in less than a week. Additionally they were very responsive and friendly.

I recently took a Kimber 1911 pistol to Goodshots, and had them install a Wilson Combat Bullet-Proof one-piece mainspring housing and magwell. I made this request a little more complicated by asking them to blend the magwell with the existing flaring on the frame of the pistol. They did a great job! It required some delicate and precise machining, along with some nice bead-blasting. They did a great job for a really great price. I'm totally happy with the work they do.

I needed a dead air flash suppressor removed after it was over torqued from the factory. I was unsuccessful even with 5min of using a heat gun and a wrench and in the process I gouged my barrel and marred everything. I thought I’d have to replace it. Brought it over and Rich told me to have faith. Received a call the next day saying it was done. Came over to pick it up and I was pleasantly surprised! Not only did he remove the muzzle device after applying a mapp torch and a 3ft bar, but he resurfaced the barrel and made it brand new! In these current times customer service feels dead but not here! I am really happy we have an awesome gunsmith in Vacaville! I challenge you to come out and meet Rich or Mike at Goodshots Gunsmithing and pick their brain when it comes to rifles, you won’t be disappointed!

Where is the 6th star option? Brought my Grandfather's rifles I'm to have them thoroughly gone through (both guns are pre 1964). So I'm from back East where respect, manners and overall kindness is bred into you. Being in this establishment makes me long for home. They are nice, don't talk down to anyone and explain everything. The pricing is UNBEATABLE.Can we go back to this type of customer service everywhere?

Dropped of my CZ 75SP01 last Saturday, cause I messed up my sear cage and Rich did an excellent job fixing it. He had it fixed in 4 days. Shot 120 rounds at the range this weekend and my pistol worked flawlessly. Thanks Rich for such an excellent work.

Really disappointed today (4/7/2022). This is my second set of night sights I had installed here (for a different gun). This first experience was good. Today however, I go to pick up my pistol (which I keep in immaculate condition) and the gunsmith tells me he broke my factory front sight trying to get it off. Then, he shows me the deformed and marred $150 night sights I purchased to have him install because he tried forcing the front sight on (even tells me he broke two punches in the process) instead of checking fit and filing a small amount off until it was proper fit. Ya know, things gunsmiths should know to do. Even I knew just from watching a YouTube video, but I didn’t have the tools. You would think after ruining my $150 sights he would eat the $35 fee, nope still paid it. Will not return as a customer.

Looking for ffl and decided to check it out. Turns out it was good choice got my business token care of in and out ! If need be he also will give you vital information on your purchase good one stop shop! I definitely will be putting something together here . Not as loud and cocky like other shops around and was willing to help unlike owners at other shops near by. Just make sure you put in for an appointment makes it much easier for you.

One of the best place to fix your gun the old man working there is very kind and knows exactly what he is doing. I brought my Glock 17 and he fixed the sight for me with out a charge because it was an easy fix. Definitely going back to him if something went wrong with my gun.

Had a empty casing stuck in my handgun. Came in and had it removed right away. Great customer service and pricing is upfront listed on the wall for gun smith services snd prices are more than fair. Would strongly recommend for any and all gun smith service needs.

Drove by and walked in because I saw him listed as an FFL, and was the closest. 15$ charge per INVOICE of ammunition isn't something that anyone else has beat. I was in and out the door in 5 minutes. Despite how busy the gentleman is, he has had the fastest service I've experienced so far
