“Quick PSA. Don't bother doing a walk-in. The staff inside are so overwhelmed dealing with appointments alone, you'd be lucky if they get to the standby list. I tried doing a walk-in - the wait seems like forever because priority is given to folks who make an appointment, and so I decided to return another day, this time with a scheduled appointment. Even though I didn't check in on time, my name was called barely 5 mins afterwards. The phleb who drew my blood lamented at how nasty people were to him because they couldn't get to the walk-ins and I think Quest Diagnostics should either stop walk-ins altogether or disable appointments. Having both can be so deceiving and give the public false hope that they can be seen without a scheduled appointment. Looking at you too, "Sutter Walk-in"!”
