Nut Tree Plaza is a great place to bring children, with interactive activities, a nice big playground, and a mini-train ride. During summer, jump houses are available. It is a great area with lots of little places to eat and restaurants galore, offering plenty of options for food and shopping. It is a convenient place to stop and stretch your legs, located off Highway 80. There are many places to shop, including stores like Home Goods. The plaza is described as old school and could use some painting and cleaning up, but it remains a thoroughly enjoyable and great stop.
Fenton's ice cream is the best. Still uses walnuts in their rocky road ice cream!!

Not as good as the ORIGINAL. Still a great place to bring your children. The food, the shopping & the interactive activities for the children. Im not sure if it's year-round, but during the summer months, they set up jump houses for the kids. $5 buys you an all day pass.
