They changed my appointment time without giving me any kind of notification. Than told me I was late and canceled my appointment. I showed them the notification of the time that my appointment actually was. The lady who said she was in charge (Cyna) or what ever her name is than proceeded to make up some bull shi story on how she contacted to me change the time which never happened and she stood and that and pretty much acted like it was my fault. Waste of time and gas at 8 am . The lady was a complete b**ch skip this place go to an actual vet. This is the service you receive when you only pay $20 a month. Fu**in joke

The staff was very friendly and advised me 10 minutes after my appointment that there was an emergency that would cause a delay of at least 30 mins or so. The tech was very sweet with my baby Oogie and talked to him every few seconds to calm his nerves. We were in for his 1st puppy visit as well as a sick visit. They even gave him a treat to get his attention off of his shots. Although they were very thorough I was a little disappointed I didn't receive my 25$ discount for 1st time clinic visits. I wasn't informed if one of the tests they charged me for had been done or not either. It was lunch time so it's somewhat understandable but still disappointing. I will still take my pup there but only if absolutely necessary.

I needed help on 11/3/22, and asked a woman cleaning the bird enclosure for assistance finding a product. Don't recall her name but she was preoccupied and unfriendly. I had been online trying to find the item and saw they carried it and according to their website had it in stock. When it wasn't on the shelf I asked if other stores in the area might have it. Begrudgingly she called the Fairfield store (twice) and when she couldn't get through chuckled with a cashier about having (accidentally) called their own store instead of Fairfield. After waiting for what seemed like forever I told her it was ok, and I left. I drove to Fairfield and they did have the item however I waited 5 minutes for a cashier to come up front so I could pay. What's up with customer service Petco?

I took my 2 Labradors in for shots last year to the Vetco pet clinic at 5406 Pacific Ave in Stockton.I always take my dogs in for Vet visits and shots together so they are always due at the same time. Last year they were due for rabies shots amongst other shots. So it was our first time at Vetco. My female dog's records reflected she was given a 3yr vaccine but my male dog's records reflected a 1 yr vaccine. I did not notice this until I got home and was putting the records away. I tried to call the clinic at Petco but was told they were already gone for the day so I would have to call the 877 number to speak to anyone. I called Vetco and explained the situation to the representative. I was told that the clinic made a mistake, that all "new" dogs only receive a 1yr vaccine regardless of whether or not they had a 3 yr previously elsewhere. So my female dog should have only rec'd a 1yr vaccine as well. ( I WAS LIED TO! See below)So here we are a year later and I make my appointments to take my 2 Labradors dogs in again + one more. I arrived at 11:50 for Dog A 12:00 - 12:06Dog B 12:06-12:12pm Dog C 12:12 - 12:18I waited in line for 20 minutes while the person in front of me was checked in. Due to the length of time it took to get the customer in front of me all checked in, I was already regretting my appointments but I needed to get my pups all taken care of.The gal checking in had gotten so behind that another tech had to come up and help her check people in. Four other appointments were checked in before I was finally all checked in! It took the gal 30 minutes to get me all checked in. I was just about ready to walk out, I could not believe the inconvenience of this whole processes!I finally get to the back and I ask one of the Vet Tech to take a look at my paperwork from last year, and ask why was one dog given a 3yr vaccine and the other just a 1yr vaccine. He looked at my paperwork saw that it was done at this same clinic and apologized. He told me that this clinic only uses a 3yr vaccine and they have had to correct other people's paperwork as well. They were going to enter the vaccine but not charge me for it since he did have it done last year. I was told several times by the Vet Tech and the Vet herself that I was not going to be charged for the vaccine but it would be entered so they can update the expiration date. I was given a small piece of paper with a bar code on it and told to take it to the cashier. I was not given ANYTHING to reflect what the charges were for and since I had 3 pets all the charges were group together as one charge on the store receipt. An itemized record would be emailed to me. I get home to print out my pets records and see that I was charged for the rabies vaccine! I tried calling the store and the clinic is done and gone for the day. I call the Vetco 877# and spoke to customer service "upon checking your pet's records your dog WAS given rabies shot today" again I tell her no he was not. They entered it to correct the vaccine exp date but NONE of my pets had any rabies shots today. Customer service representative then tells me I will have to make another appointment to go in and talk to the Vet! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Not only was I lied to on the first visit last year but now I am over charged and you want to inconvenience me some more by having to make another appointment to go in and speak with the Vet that also told me I would not be charged. How about YOU contact the Vet since you have my pets records and YOU ask her personally if my dog was given a rabies shot today or not. They do not have access to the Vet so they cannot call. Ok How about you let me talk to a supervisor and ofcorse one is not available... I should receive a call back within 24 hours. Maybe they will call when I am not at home, possibly at work, so they can say they called me back.... Got it!!!I really thought that having my pets vet care/shots at Petco would be a convenience, but I was so wrong!I want a refund for that Rabies shot that my dog DID NOT GET and now I feel

The vet's office treated my kitty for several health issues and treated me with respect, answering all of my questions. When my kitty passed away, they sent me beautiful roses!

I don't shop here that often and after tonight I can see why. I walked around the store for at least 10 minutes trying to find someone help me find a product but there were no employees on the floor working. So I finally found the products I needed on my own. Now I go to check out and it's about a line of 7 people. Both cashiers definitely seem like they do not want to be there. I go to check out and the gentleman hands me back the wrong amount. No biggie but as I tell him he thinks I'm wrong at first but the register is telling him how much he owes me and I still have the amount of the counter. Now we must wait for a manager while the people behind me are now frustrated that it went down to one cashier. Please teach your cashiers how to count back change. Money does still exist.

A haircut I can truly say that I could have done much better myself. Bring your dog here at your own peril. They are not cheaper than real grooming shops... $20 is not cheaper when you are talking $100 per dog for full treatment. Run to a real groomer... don't look back... We have two seven month old Labradoodles. One has straight hair while the other has more poodle hair... Both should look like little cute fluffy puffballs for around two weeks following a grooming... Well Petco butchered this haircut. A 3/4 inch uneven shave over entire dog. The legs are uneven. Usually labradoodles have their legs cut like little straight poles... very cute look. Uneven is not even a good way to describe it. A day later, you wouldn't know they were at groomers. What a joke for $210. I feel like I was literally robbed. It is like we went in and said give us the cheapest haircut ever... and then get hit with a $210 bill! The dogs don't even prance around like they have a new haircut? Then on top of this, both dogs were there for five hours... From the quality of this job, they were clearly locked in foreign crates for 4 hours and 45 minutes each. while jammed through all the different grooming stages over 15 minutes... I will likely never even shop at Petco again... this is how angry I am. They should be ashamed... maybe they were training someone? but you would think training would imply supervision? What a joke for a company. Never again will I make this mistake. Last month we went to "Tails of the City" since petco was backed up. We don't know why we didn't just go back, since we were so happy with their work. They know how to trim a labradoodle.

Went here on the way to Tahoe needing calming chews for my pup. Great store for Medium to Large dogs. Had solid stock for dog jackets that I didn't see at the petcos in the bay. Got lucky with a sale on one puffer jacket for my pup's snow protection at $20. Where the Petco in Alameda had them for $63-67 The two ladies on staff this morning were friendly and super knowledgeable on big dogs. They gave an estimate to when the chews would kick in and also mentioned other general tips for calming. Thank you!!!

Took my dog here for training. Classes were approximately 40/45 minutes long. I was told an hour. Tammy was good but unfortunately I could of save quite a bit by watching you tube. I got the basics like sit, stay, focus, and learning to walk with the leash better. But not 200+ for that. Live and learn I guess.

We have been getting our dog groomed here for over a year. I would give Katy a 1,000 stars if I could. She is so caring and sensitive to our senior dog needs. While she was out for awhile, the other groomers stepped in and also did a good job. But, Katy is the best
