One star since they won't sell their Christmas decor that is on display. I found the cutest wood trees for 70 % off my mom has been wanting them and I was so excited. First I was told they are for sale but she needed to find someone to get them down then another employee told me they are not for sale. Why would an item in a store be on display but not for sale? Clearly saving them for someone. She told me they wouldn't be selling them until after Christmas lol

Worst. I called to ask about an Anton dresser for my daughter. Spoke to Ashley and her manager. Nope, they could not hold item. They said if I wanted it, I would need to drive and take a look in store. I asked what condition dresser was in and was told, "new, perfect condition". I asked if there was any scratches or damages and she said "no, new condition without any damages". I drove from Healdaburg two hours, four hours round trip to only find WHOLE side of dresser was completely scratched and damaged. Really shitty staff.

Of the outlets in Vacaville, this one is very well organized and still has the fun, clean energy of a flagship West Elm. I visited the weekend after Black Friday and the discounts were major. They had 50% off the listed price. I got an office/ dining chair for under $200.

You can definitely find something from here if you are looking for a high quality and lower price sofa/ottoman. The 1 star is only for this rule and attitude. I don’t understand one of their store’s rules, they asked customer parked their car at the back door, but not allowing customer go through that door even they already parked there. The thing is we parked there to pick up our stuff, but the door closed and we can’t we open it. I run to the front door asked them open the back door to pick up our stuff, at that time, I would prefer go with my stuff and loaded it on my car, but they aren’t allowed me to do that. I have to go all the way round from the front door to the back. Such an inefficient and inconvenient rule, which never consider about customers who already bought stuff and would like to load it on their own car.

The only outlet we actually want to go to in the area. We keep going to the others anyway in hopes they’ll improve but they never do. We don’t always find a deal we like here but when we do it’s pretty significant. Staff has always been helpful unlike at other stores—seriously check the reviews, West Elm must have significantly better hiring or something because it feels like a regular store with associates who are happy you’re getting a deal for cute stuff and not like a bunch of judgey teenagers who think you’re outlet shopping because you’re cheap. Items here are also in better condition—maybe just a ding or a wonky drawer, whereas the stuff at some of the other outlets looks used, dirty, or fully broken. Thank you west elm for being an actual normal outlet store ?

It’s the second Thursday that one of the staff closes the doors before 7:15 ( they should close at 8 PM during the week) and she said “ we are short in staff” with a really bad attitude!

I have purchased couple furnitures here and I absolutely love this store it never disappoints. My last visit I got a bed frame I was assisted by Michelle over the phone and in person and she is amazing. She was super attentive and patient with me and my mom. Michelle was super knowledgeable and guided me through the entire purchase. Furniture shopping is so stressful and she made it a great experience! I am so excited for my bed frame thank you, Michelle! I will definitely come back again! The manager has been there awhile he is also very accommodating and sweet. However, The general manager should really look at the severely damaged clearance section and mark down accordingly. No one is going to pay $1,200 for completely broken (huge chunk of wood almost coming off) front and back edges of a dresser.I don't even care if it was originally $2,600, that's the reason why it's at an outlet. So glad I did not get it. Especially since there is no return, and when you have to pay that much for a broke item!

Several visits to this location have garnered the same experience - absolutely non-existent customer service. Most recently-Friday 4/28/23-walked in and looked at the cash wrap area where there were three employees standing together discussing a woman who continued to call to find out if there were queen sheets in stock. Apparently she was a serial caller, and they had had about enough of her. I was looking at couches in the front area and wandering back-and-forth through them and after at least a full 5 to 8 minutes, still not one of them had looked up. Wandered all the way through the entire store, to the back corner, and finally a different woman greeted me and asked if she could help with anything. I did end up buying one thing from back there and she went to the cash wrap with me to check me out. If this was a unique experience, I wouldn't even be writing about it. But it is consistently like this here. If you go across the parking lot to the Crate and Barrel outlet, it will be like walking into a spring breeze, compared to this winter chill.

I made a purchase at the store in Dec 2022. The transaction did not go through using my Apple Watch, and the salesperson noted “it happens frequently”. I ended up paying with a physical credit card. Later, I noted an incorrect charge on my Apple Card, gave the store manager a call, send him the receipt and payment, which they were supposed to forward to their Sales Audit Team. Here I am 2 months later, still following up with my incompetent bank to remove the charges. All the hassle for a faulty Payment Terminal. Such a shame for West Elm!

Decent selection of west elm items. But really hit or miss on the pricing. Some stuff is priced pretty well and others are like almost full price but all banged up. You can definitely score some deals but you'll have to get lucky

The furniture was okay, many pieces were damaged. I decided to buy a couple of pillow covers. There were two cashiers helping two people in front of me. I waited and one of the cashiers finished with one customer and said, "I'll be right back." She never came back. I saw her having coffee with a group of other employees in the back of the store. The other cashier continued to help the people in front of me and they were chatting and going on. I waited for about 15 minutes before I finally left with empty hands. The deal for those pillow covers was not worth the time.

Michelle was absolutely wonderful! We drove here from 2 hours away for a specific piece and Michelle was so kind and patient with us. She recommended we check in periodically to make sure our item was still in stock. And she never got annoyed with all my phone calls! When we finally got there she was so warm and helpful. She listened to all our design preferences and gave us such great suggestions. We almost ended up buying another piece of furniture we hadn't even thought of thanks to her great suggestions! I will definitely be looking for her next time I visit!
