I’m local to Santa Clarita so it was so simple as a phone call to ask if a medical walking boot is in stock. It was in stock, so I came by and picked it up. The transaction was simple and the owners were very friendly. I’m thankful a small business was open to provide this walking boot.

Stay away from this company. They are absolutely useless if you have problems with a brace and then charge you a 20% restocking fee if you need to return it. This was for a CMC thumb brace.

I ordered a knee brace online on 1/8. Did not recieve until 1/23. After 10 days I called to check status. I was told rep would have to go to warehouse to find out. He stated he would call me back. No call. My next 2 calls were to Andrew. After the calls he said he'd call me back. No return call. When I di recieve the brace only the sleeve was in the box all the hinge part was not put in the brace. Ive asked for a refund to no avail. They asked me to wait while it is sorted out. My last conversation resulted in a truely professional manner and hung up on me. Great coming from the founder and ceo of the company. The reason he hung up on me was because I compared his company service to FedEx. I have know filled a dispute with credit card company.

I bought a pair of medi orthotics and when I received them, I compared them with the ones I am currently wearing by laying them side by side and realized the new pair was too big. I spoke to a rep when I got the return authorization number and he said make sure they have not been worn or look like they have been used at all or we will send them back and not refund them. I told him I hadn’t worn them but had only compared them side by side so it shouldn’t be a problem. A month had gone by and they just returned them to me stating they are unsaleable, even though I never put them on my shoes or stepped on them etc. I would definitely not buy anything from this dishonest company again.

Purchased a knee brace; which was a super amazing product and fast delivery!However, it did not fit my son. We promptly returned it, understanding the restock fee and process. I have called directly, speaking to a number of different folks, one acknowledging the receipt of our item and telling us it is in quarantine (of course, trusting this employee- I tossed our tracking number from the USPS) and the return would be processed in 2 week. Over 2 months later and we are still pending the refund- oh and in addition- was talked down to in the process by the President Andrew. Of course, this is my fault I trusted this company to tell me the truth that the package was received and I discarded our receipt from USPS.Seriously, worst customer service and terrible process for returns. Guys- shop local and don't waste your time with these yahoos.

I needed a replacement part but wasn't sure how to go about ordering it, so I called the number on the machine. There, they told me I'd need a prescription to order the part and to call another 800 #. So I did, and the person I spoke with told me about ordering directly online from dme-direct. He gave me the exact number to search on the website for the part I needed and I didn't have to get a prescription after all (it was for a piece to a Kodiak cooling machine to strap onto my knee: dog chewed it up). I got on, placed my order with ease and selected standard shipping for only $7.50 with an expected arrival time of 7 to 10 business days. Nope, even better- I ordered on Friday at 12:30MST & IT ARRIVED TO MY HOUSE BY MONDAY AT THE SAME TIME!! Awesome-highly recommend shopping here.

I just want to share how truly phenomenal and caring the Owner and Staff at DME Direct are! They could not have been more helpful when I called attempting to locate a Toe Cover for my Air Boot. They were so considerate that, knowing I needed this piece to be able to return to work, "...upgraded (me) to 2-day FedEx rather than Priority mail to be very certain that (I got) this ASAP. Have a great day!" You know, you can't ask for much more than that when something comes from the other side of the U.S. in record time to fulfill your urgent needs! I will definitely recommend them in the future!

If you're ordering knee bracing talk with Andrew. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I recommend him 1000%. He was so great I asked to speak with his supervisor and told them how wonderful his is.

If I could give zero I would. They're quick to sell you merchandise but will not give you your money back on return. They come up with some excuse and give you a hard time about returning anything.

Do not purchase from this company. They advertised “free shipping for orders over $100” all over the website, and $7.50 flat rate shipping for other orders. When I placed my $200 order there was *no* free shipping option at checkout. At all. The cheapest shipping option was $21 for UPS ground. Customer service rep could not have cared less about why this was the case. Deceptive website, unresponsive and uninterested customer service. Hard pass.

The staff at DME Direct are extremely helpful. They have an in depth knowledge of their products and will always recommend the best product that is within budget and the proper item for specific injuries. They are also very efficient at getting their product out in a timely manner so one will not have to wait long to receive their products.
