My son’s wedding was there on Saturday night. The room was beautiful they were able to pivot based on the weather which was appreciated Overall the evening was incredible due to the fantastic job of all of their recommended vendors, the DJ, Coordinator who we could not live without and then we hired an incredible florist. From the beginning the entire process was difficult the bride had to wait on average a week to a week and a half for any responses to questions and then the responses answered one or two questions but not all so the process started again. The vendors we hired could not communicate with the venue either and the bride had to run interference to the very end.I had concerns over the appetizers and they assured me that it was 6 pieces per person, my husband had 1 as did many of our guests. Most of our guests spent their time during cocktail hour in line at the bar waiting for drinks. The bartenders were as responsive as they could be however with 130 people, 2 were not enough especially when they had to leave to get supplies like glasses etc… so the people in line certainly did not get appetizers. The bartenders were very friendly and did the best they could often with a heavy pour sometimes too heavy. The appetizers I did get were good. I had a feeling this would happen and tried to have a stationery appetizer table as well but due to the communication situation we were unable to make that happen. The food took an incredibly long time to get out and was mediocre at best. The salad was overdressed and soggy, the salmon while cooked nicely had a sauce that was so salty it was not edible. The steak was cooked perfectly which was amazing for that amount of people. The plates were inconsistent and what was listed on the menu was not provided. The Salmon was supposed to come with asparagus and carrots but had an unusal vegetable of peppers and corn. I am not sure why they did not have the food that was planned for. Every plate at our table was different even with the same entrees. Honestly for the cost of the venue I was disappointed by the lack of consistency and quality of the food. The wait staff was very nice and helpful.By the time we got through dinner, there were two hours left to dance have desserts etc.. I am not sure what happened with the timing of things. Overall I believe my guests had a great time and I had a great time, the venue is beautiful! One last note, the member bathrooms attached to the bridal room were extremely dirty from the time we got there at 1:00pm throughout the evening even when I complained and my guests complained multiple times. Not sure why that would be the case at such a nice facility.

The staff that is suppose to assist making your wedding a seamless process instead they were terrible. The only helpful one was Katelyn, let me start off with the fact we easily spent $30k+ on our wedding. Initially we dealt with Megan, who’s a total stand-off rude person. Word for word - “ I don’t have time to show you the venue multiple times” when you’re spending that much money you would think they would be much nicer. Secondly I signed a contact and they failed to disclose construction was going to start around my wedding date so they had this big ugly gate and curtain blocking the entire green area to the CEREMONY. I was soo upset they never gave me notice until the 2-3 weeks prior to my event. I requested to speak with SOOONY who’s the general manager for the location. According to her she understood the inconvenience and would talk to me after the event to fix the situation to date I have not received 1 call from them to see how we can fix this. I’m actively working on taking legal action and will prevail. Best advice I can give do not book with them , they charge for every little request, they’re completely unresponsive to emails or calls and all my vendors told me the same. They would call and leave messages and nothing. Find another place, this place is terrible unfortunately.

If you ever done at the members' lounge, look for Michael. We always celebrate my parents in law there, but my in laws said they had the best time of all because Michael just made the entire time special with thoughtfulness and professionalism.

We just held our wedding at this amazing venue and we could not have had a more perfect day! Katelyn and all of the staff were amazing not only on the wedding day, but throughout the entire planning process making sure all of our wishes were met and that everything was ready to go! We seriously could not have asked for a better day. I highly recommend this gorgeous venue to any soon to be bride and groom!

Just recently celebrated an engagement party at the oaks club. Beginning with the coordinator(s) and managers; Katelyn, Justin and remaining staff provided us with a memorable experience my fiancé and I will cherish forever. The planning and execution of this event was flawless. Thank you everyone that had helped us make this event great!

The best views of Santa Clarita Valley! Friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. We enjoy attending the various events throughout the year with friends and family along with casual nights around the firepit while listening to local musicians.

I met a couple of friends here who are members for a few happy hour drinks on a Friday afternoon. I hadn't been here in a while since they changed it over to The Oaks. It's a new modern look from the classic style it used to be. But I like it.The service is top of the line, as you would expect from a club. All of the staff are friendly, eager to please and helpful. They had great happy hour smoked old fashioneds for $8! Unheard of. The video I attached was the presentation. The bartender, Michael, was super cool. He knew all the members by name and remembered their regular drinks and preferences. He was busy because he was alone but seemed to give everyone ample attention and met their needs. Carissa came through on another errand but stopped what she was doing to say hello and she helped my friend out with some questions he had about their wine room that he wanted to reserve for a private event. Staff seems to go out of their way to cater to the members. Food was good too. Very cool, exclusive spot. I'm sure I'll be back as a guest again soon.

I can't emphasize how incredible Katelyn and the team at Oaks Club were in helping us host our wedding. Everything went perfectly. Katelyn in particular went above and beyond in the weeks and months before to make sure they could supply anything we needed at the venue, and she was so flexible in setting up the ceremony layout, staying in contact to finalize food/drink details, and everything else we needed to make our day a special one. Special shout out to Cambria on the day-of to make sure things went smoothly, and the chefs for the incredible food. If you're looking for a place to host your special day, look no further.

Delicious appetizers and cocktails. Excellent service. Too bad the lounge is not open to the public. Their business would increase.

My wife and I had an enjoyable experience working with the staff at the oaks club. Katelyn and Brandon did a phenomenal job at accommodating our requests and ensured everything was perfect. The venue, food and service was excellent as well. Our guests loved the layout of the venue surrounded by all the trees and mountains.

Do not play well at The Oaks Club at Valencia’s member-guest tournament or you will be punished at your expense!I was a former member of the club for approximately 12 years and left the club in 2020 when I relocated to Las Vegas. I have participated in The Oaks Preserve as a member and a guest approximately 15 times and will never again! My partner and I had an exceptional first day of the tournament. We scored a gross 66 and net 59. We had six birdies and 12 pars during the first day’s scramble play. The six birdies we accomplished by one 5 ft putt and five 15-20 ft putts made by my partner. It was a magical putting performance as it is not likely anyone with a 12 handicap can make so many long putts. My partner and I played the first day with another member and his guest, which neither of us knew or played with before. They vetted our score for the day and attested the score card. This score placed us in 1st place with two days to go, but not so fast.Approximately two hours later, my partner was contacted by the club’s golf pro and was advised that a few members on the handicap committee and tournament committee decided that our first day play was too exceptional and that they decided that they were going to adjust our team handicap by four strokes for each day, which the club’s golf pro agreed with. No reasonable justification was provided for this penalty beyond the unfounded assumption that we could not have achieved a net 59 score in a scramble format, given our handicaps. This unfair decision left us with no viable choice but to withdraw from the tournament. We were left to choose between: playing well and facing further baseless accusations, continuing to play amidst an unproven allegation of unfair play, or withdrawing from the event. We chose to withdraw. The club’s golf pro readily accepted our withdrawal, agreeing that our entry fee would not be charged to the member, our team wagers would be refunded, and we would not participate in the ongoing events of the tournament or receive any of the future event meals, benefits, etc. Regarding my travel expenses, the golf pro relayed that he lacked the authority to authorize reimbursement, but suggested we could negotiate this later, a point we all agreed upon. Interestingly, the few handicap committee and tournament committee members that decided our four-stroke penalty, per day were also competing in the event, did not contact the other member and guest that played with us, which could validated our play and score, nor did they contact my partner or I to discuss our play and score before they decided to assess a four-stroke per day penalty.I contacted The Oaks Club at Valencia’s general manger by email regarding reimbursement for my travel expenses. After several weeks and follow-ups, she finally responded and took no responsibility for the unjust actions taken by the club pro and the committees. She also informed me that I would not be reimbursed for my expenses. She did however throw me a bone in a token of good will, a complimentary foursome restricted golf certificate at a sister golf course in my home city.I wrote her back and informed her that I disagree with her decision, declined her token foursome certificate, and requested her superior’s contact information. She never responded to my request for her superior’s contact information. Wonder why?The Oaks club at Valencia is owned and managed by Arcis Golf. On July 10, 2023, I wrote The Senior Vice President of Operations for Arcis Golf and advised him of my experience at The Oaks Club at Valencia and with its golf pro and general manager to no response. I suppose this is par for the course for both The Oaks Club at Valencia and Arcis Golf! The Oaks Club at Valencia failed to do the right thing during a major event they hosted, failed to even attempt to do the right thing post their poor judgement, and has been untimely and unresponsive to inquiries. Arcis Golf and The Oaks Club at Valencia has lost my future business and I do not recommend either of them for anyone interested in a well-run golf club.
