Costco Pharmacy is part of a larger warehouse store known for its bulk goods and value. Many customers shop for food there weekly, following personal rules to manage bulk purchases, such as buying one item per category and repackaging items. Shoppers note prices can be roughly 60% of supermarket costs for many items. The store offers a wide selection, including fresh and frozen foods, pantry staples, and household goods like durable towels, with many loyal customers buying the same staple items for years. The Vallejo location, in particular, is noted for having a unique selection of items, including more Asian foods and special holiday products, not always found at other area stores. The store is consistently described as crowded but well-organized and well-stocked. It features a food court, self-checkout lanes, and an on-site optometrist offering eye exams at competitive prices, which customers report as a good value. The attached gas station is a major draw, with prices often a few cents lower than nearby stations, though lines are frequently very long. Overall, customers express high satisfaction, citing great customer service, a vast array of products from groceries to tires, and good value, though they humorously note it is easy to spend hundreds of dollars per visit.
We love coming to this Costco weekly. Might as well call it Whole Paycheck. It's literally $300-$400 everytime we stop by here. It's a bit insance how much one can easily spend here.
