What a joke of a pharmacy. Went through the drive thru at 3 pm last Saturday to pick up a very important prescription for a relative that was just released from the hospital an hour earlier. She told me it wouldn't be ready for another hour to wait inside or come back. I drove back again 2 hours later and the same lady then said they were out of the med and would have to order it, that it wouldn't be in until Monday and it couldn't be transferred or picked up elsewhere without the prescribing Dr.s ok. It was late and I couldn't get a hold of the Dr. I asked her to please order it. My daughter then went back late Monday to pick it up and was told, "oops we ordered the wrong medication". This was a very important timed medication that urgently needed to be taken at 7 pm that Sat. by a very sick person ... and they just didn't give a flying ... monkey ... or care that they set him back on his recovery. So thankful I have Kaiser and will never have to use them personally.

The pharmacy department is super understaffed and unorganized. It will take weeks to get your prescription. They tell you to come at a certain time then ask you to come back it's a mess.

Scary and dirty outside the parking lot. I had an online order to pick up. I received the email alert to check in to let them know I'm on my way. When I got there I alerted them via email/app "I'm here". Waited and waited. Finally after 10 minutes I called. 1sr call I was dropped. Then I called again. Finally someone answered. I asked for my curbside order. Then I just said I'll go to the drive thru instead and I was answered with ok. I wanted to get out of the lot. It did not look save. There was an abandoned car and the stench smell of weed was eminent. Not the best experience. Management need to step up and make the lot safe and clean. Very unsanitary. Your curbside pick up is non-existence. See photo submitted.

My letter to Walgreens: There is criminal activity going on in this store Walgreens Pharmacy 1050 Redwood Street Vallejo California 94590 (707)557.6948. My nephew has "Spinal Cord Injury" diagnosed as "Paraplegic". Incident 1: I picked him up from the hospital on 01/27/23 picked up his medication. He was supposed to get "75 Oxycodone" and they gave him "50" voiding out the remaining "25". Incident 2: Then the next time I went to pick up his refill for "240 Methadone" they gave me "139" voiding out the remaining 101. Incident 3: Now, yesterday 02/26/23 after Church I went to pick up his medication, I waited an hour for them to finish refill. I get home start filling his "Pill Box" and I said to myself "that there is no way that there is 30 pills in this bottle!" I then counted the pills and there was only "16" in the bottle and "4" in the pill box. So I call Walgreen's spoke to Nicole whom informed me that the pills are counted twice and on camera. I said that might be true but we have 20 pills vs 30 pills so that means I stole 10 pill or they stole or miscounted 10 pills. I'm a Law Abiding Christian Citizen. I do not pop pills, smoke or drink so I have no need to steal meds especially after using my Drivers License to pick up medication. So, manager Christina told me to call the Police so I did. They will call me back, but they advise me to contact Walgreens Corporate Office. So, this is the only online form that I could find to file some type of complaint. I will also contact the Insurance Company and let them know that they are paying for medication that he is not getting. Please advise. Thank youFatema M

be careful! read your receipts! twice (that i've noticed anyway) i've been overcharged, and escalating to the manager is not easy (one apathetic clerk basically refusing to call her). and when i was able to speak with a manager not only could she not understand the situation, but wanted me to pay the higher price. what's so difficult about comparing the tags on shelves with the receipt? (i even took a photo of the sales tags that clearly showing the product and date in case walking back to the aisle was too strenuous). and what about making sure that the computer system of the cash register actually matches the prices advertised?

their pharmacy was down and instead of resolving the issue they allowed two days to pass and not do anything but take the phones off the hook so no one could call and contact them this is the most irresponsible thing that I've ever experienced in my life my mom had an asthma attack and I had to pick up her medicine and they had nothing to say there was no manager to talk to or anything this is the worst Walgreens and it should be shut down permanently whoever the manager is needs to be fired for being irresponsible and needs to be jailed too not being able to get your medicine could be death for some I can't believe this place is still open

I would highly not recommend this pharmacy. My wife and I went to the drive thru at around 4:50pm on 12-24-2022. My wife was getting important medication refilled before the holiday and before the end of year. As my wife received her items within 3 minutes, she asked also for a COVID test because her coverage covered that. Victoria told her she couldn't do it because they were closing. My wife clearly stated she needed the test. The young lady claimed that it was Christmas Eve, she wanted to leave because everyone has family. My wife claimed this was important and Victoria responded that she felt that this wasn't a life or death situation. We then asked for a manager or pharmacist and she claimed they were busy and she couldn't get the COVID test. Her concern is that it would take at least 15 minutes. After the pharmacist came over, the test were given to us by Victoria and the pharmacist well before 15 minutes. This all could've been avoided with awesome customer service, instead rudeness prevailed. Why go through all of that and still end up giving us the tests. That speaks of laziness and poor training.

So this pharmacy is always understaffed. This is not the pharmacy's problem it is the corporate district manager the Store managers problem. They are ones that set up how many hours the store is supposed to have and how many hours the pharmacy is supposed to have the coverage is terrible. Plus some of the employees are not trained properly. Today on a simple visit through the drive-through I was there probably 15 minutes it is 80° outside and there are cars lined up behind me while my car is running and they are sitting in the sun I asked the girl African-American do you ship to our homes? Meaning does a product come through the mail if we would like that service she said lol let me go check five minutes later she comes back in a small pharmacy I don't know what she was doing and how she was saying I looked at her I told her I said I need to look online she goes yeah I got brilliant. We're all waiting here in the sun you are supposed to be trained on the simple basic things if I was a secret shopper your store manager would've just got an F. I think they could be a little more consistent have a one or two more people in the pharmacy and getting a reputation as a efficient reliable smooth transaction pharmacy rather than erratic untrained understaffed and who suffers the customer that is bringing you money for your paycheck and the corporations greed.

I went in with a list and came home with nothing! Wow no shopping carts or baskets in the front but I decided to go into the store and try to gather the list of things my wife needed for her head cold. I went over to the cold remedies section and all the DayQuil and NyQuil was locked up , meaning I would need a clerk to get a simple over the counter drug . I threw up my hands and left not buying anything. Our local Walgreens can now be officially classified as Ghetto

There's a saying "you get what you pay for" and that's certainly true with this Walgreens. My granddaughter had a croup cough so I had her tested. The results took five days. When I realized how long it was going to take I paid to get a test and got the results back within an hour. My daughter and I weren't going to expose our co-workers so had we waited on Walgreens to get the results back we'd have each lost three days pay. A five day wait for test results is unacceptable. You get what you pay for I guess.

This is a review regarding the Walgreens pharmacy service in redwood st. in Vallejo . I really liked the idea of drive-thru pharmacy service during COVID time & it was the only reason I kept using their service. However, I've had enough of this place. I did not know why sometimes I ended up getting short of my medications even before I reach the time for refills of my medications. I did not know why some of my medications looked different time to time. I did not know why I had to make several trips to the pharmacy to get complete refills on three medications that were prescribed on a same paper on a same day by my physician. All I know is that five pills were short in one of my medication bottle when I finally counted right after I picked them up from the pharmacy today. Tomorrow, when I wake up, I still have to continue battle with Walgreens pharmacy to get one prescription that they could not refill-even after three days I dropped off my MD's prescription. Their excuse was "your refill request was not approved by the prescriber". Now, this does make no sense to me. My physician, who has been prescribing these medications for more than 5 years, would not have written me the prescriptions in front of me if he were to disapprove it later. How many times they used these line? Tomorrow, when I wake up, I have to continue battle with Walgreens pharmacy on Redwood Vallejo to get the last prescription refill. I hope it goes smoothly and I hope I get the correct number of pills of right medication ASAP because I ran out of this medication. And this will be the last time that I'll bite the bullet but no more.

What can you say it's disgusting inside of the store stains all over the place not to mention the 3 homeless man outside the place. But wait there's more the pharmacy is of bunch of Incompetent morons to say the Least. I waited hours for a script that the could have filled but instead made a Excuse about it every time until I called them out for it then the Asian tech wanted to act like she was trying!!!! Never again

Please be careful at this Walgreens. My car window was broken and my bag was stolen from my car in 5 minutes of being inside. The security guard said he couldn't do anything and the manger said she couldn't pull the cameras unless the police requested it! They offered zero help or sympathy. Do NOT GO HERE! That happened in broad daylight!

I stopped by to pick up some items for my elderly mother, on July 31 at 6:45 pm. I was immediately followed all over the store by a tall black security guard. He literally stalked me all over the store as I shopped, it was a horrifying experience. As a professional black woman in my 60's I was very upset, and when I got to the cashier, I complained, nothing was done. Got in my car, called spoke to asst. manager. Was told they use a contract company and she will speak to him. Will call back to speak to manager about his outrageous behavior, and intimidating ,threatening behavior. He needs to be let go, No way a customer should be treated like this.

After a tumultuous few weeks of being closed due to protesting and looting over the death of George Floyd.. Walgreens was able to recuperate and took the time to really get their store together. I thought for sure they were going to shut down for good. Thankfully since I do get some of my prescriptions there I was happy to know they had reopened and I wouldn't have to be looking for another pharmacy to transfer to. I will give them a better score since they cleaned up real nice!
