Girl was on her phone the whole time I was there, didn't ask me if I needed help not even once. I was the only person in the store and when I asked for a product she didn't even go check in the back she just said no that's all we have on the shelves when most of the time they always have it in the back. I was asking for the cookies&cream flavor which they always have it in the back youll know who I am once you see this. I am never coming back to this GMC store very bad customer service. Always talking in between the coworkers instead of actually helping out customers.

Overall really bad place to go they will barely have what you’re looking for in stock nor have proper knowledge on what you’re trying to get mostly everything in the store is not tagged properly.This GNC does not care about they’re customers nor employees, this 1 star comes from the lack of leadership from this location good people under a shitty district manager that will leave his stores without manager for 2+ months you will be dealing with disrespect and duty’s that put you and a manager in the same position all for minimum wage.I recommend not shopping with this store nor applying.(Former employee)

This is the second time I come to pick an order and the store is close. It says they are returning at a specific time at the door and I came back twice 30 min after the first and 45 min after the second time and it still close. Like why would you put we will return at this time if is not going to happen. Online says it's open I show up from napa and it's close.

Firstly, I want to inform anyone that reads this that I'm speaking as a former customer, and eventually employee. Any thing I say here does NOT reflect on the current or past employees of the actual store. I could not have asked for better people to work with.
Any faults you find with this store is not because of the employees, but the district manager. Possibly the rudest and most unprofessinal boss I've ever worked for. One of the worst communicators. To take 0 accountability for the state the store was in before I arrived as manager was the first red flag. Interrupting, talking down, and a extremely unjust attitude has no place in any workplace. After a 10 year career in the casino industry, I needed a change in work, and GNC seemed like a good fit. After my experience working in the district I was in, I wouldn't even recommend the company to anyone. I won't say the name of the district manager, but I am beyond certain she will see this, as Google reviews is a strong tool helping businesses.
But I can't allow this store to get bashed when it's overseen by a district manager with poor leadership skills, and people skills for that matter. The employees I oversaw are excellent. Gio, Gavin, Jadiene, Vinny, are all knowledgeable and great people overall. Scheduling does limit the amount of coverage for the store, which does put a strain sometimes to the customer. However, it shouldn't go without saying that when you walk into a store with the worst attitude, and a tone that is not only unacceptable in the workplace, but rather embarrassing and disrespectful.
Most jobs give you a 60-90 day trial and error period of learning the operation and culture of the store. Before my 60th day, a new manager was brought in, which I wish all the best to. However I kindly stepped aside as my experience, talents, resources, and dignity will not be subjected to someone that lacks general people skills and communication. Please approach with a grain of salt, as this store can do only so much.
The store is being set up to close eventually from the way it seems, and if that's the case GNC won't change a thing.
To all of the employees I had the pleasure of working with on a daily basis, I wish them all nothing but the best, and hope they're doing well. To upper management, well, why would you listen now?

Justin was very helpful and accommodating. I walked in right before closing, and he took his time and didn't rush me. He also offered to sign me up for rewards. Great customer service! Thank you!

Showed up to get some pre workout at 645 store closes at 8. Turns out the worker closed the store and now im waiting 30min for them to return? I'll never come back. I wonder if ownership approves this according to other reviews its been an ongoing issue for years. Wouldn't recommend anyone come here since they clearly don't value bussiness.

I just currently went into gnc since I’m starting to get back into working out. I had no idea what type of creatine or pre workout that I needed but luckily the worker there named Adal helped me out with what I needed.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Their selection of protein powders vitamins, vitamins and all their supplements are amazing! I get all the supplements I need to stay healthy from this upscale store.

Have had a few visits here now and the staff are nice enough. They greet you when you walk in, and chill out until you need for help and ask; then they're more than willing to help and answer any questions.

The store is so ghetto. How you going to take a lunch break right before the store close! This is not the only time it happen and customer was saying this happen to both of them. Its 5:00 pm and the store close at 6:00. I will never come back to this store. I been waiting later then 30min they need new non-lazy people. They.going to miss out on business 3 customers waiting

Nothing really stands out from this GNC versus others, except for one thing: The Staff. All products offered you can find in other GNC stores, so there is no specific product you'll find here that you won't find at another location. You may find a specific flavor or option at this one that you may not find at another location though. For example, I found the Syntha-6 Birthday Cake remix flavor at this location that I did not see at the Fairfield or Pinole locations. What stood out here was my experience with (I think) Derek. He had a great personality, knew how to hold conversation, and was extremely knowledgable in answering questions I had regarding product selection and suggestion. Even after checking out, Derek kept a conversation going which helped secure my business going forward. He had a very professional demeanor but knew how to keep things light-hearted and fun as well. Businesses could use more talent, knowledge, and people skills as Derek. Well done!
