Horrible place to work. They seem great at the beginning but then the next thing you know, if you are a good worker, they dump EVERYTHING on YOU. Management disappears and never supports you once you have settled in as if you never need assistance when backed up. The main HR person (initials AH) will give you good support in the beginning but as soon as you say no to things (coming in on your day off, asking to take on more responsibilities but for no additional money, etc.) they cut your hours, put all that new responsibility on you anyway, but then start writing you up if you can't get everything done. Management and Leads have their favorites and so, when your working, you might often find your working alone because the Management, their Leads and their favorites will be in the back socializing constantly. As for service, there are some amazing people that work there but they are always the ones burdened with a TON of work, desperately trying to keep their job by appeasing HR and Management. They, however are the ones that are also the nicest. They care about you, it's just so hard for them when Management and HR has them worried about having some unfounded reason to let them go. It's like working in an environment where Management and their pet employees intimidate the hard good workers. The store is often in disarray and there are always a bunch of loiterers in front that you have to get past. As for security, they are so easy to distract that people are always walking out without paying.

Recently, I find myself going into a store and checking out just one section thoroughly and well. I don't usually do this but I think Covid has changed the prices so much that I need to reassess the landscape. Last time I popped into Target. I wandered over to the hair section. It was beautifully neat. No odd bits of merchandise tossed about. I had just checked out the dollar store next-door and Sally beauty. I found the Target selection of hair elastics, and related accessories to be the largest one. I was surprised but then I realized a good chunk of the products were aimed at kids. The dollar store has a much smaller selection but they're after the low price. Sally Beauty seems to have less selection, but in fact, they have a greater variety with a much larger selection of tools and accessories, which are more suited for advanced hairstyles.If you're shopping for a kid Target is the place. it's price competitive with Sally and has much larger selection than both the dollar store and Sally. But if you're interested in updos and styles then Sally beauty is your place. For comparable products between target and Sally beauty, prices are neck and neck. Of course if cost is the criteria the the Dollar store wins. But most of the selection comes from an obscure brand that I've never tried. As usual I headed for the self checkout. Sure wish these machines were as good as a human but at least they're less busy.

DO NOT buy gift cards from this store I recently bought two gift cards for family members and once they tried to use them the balance was zero i called the target goft card helpline and they said someone had used it in another city or state please dont get scammed especially with the holidays arriving I just wanted to share my experience and by looking at other reviews here this is not the first time this happens so just be aware!

The Target in Vallejo doesn't do anything about the loiterers harassing the customers to give them money to their "charities" when the customers are entering and exiting the building. One of them tried to snag my phone when I took pictures of them and called the Police and Target Management while I was in my caretaker's car on our way out of the plaza. Target Management doesn't do a thing to kick them off the premises

Target is awful. Don't ever spend your money especially to buy gift cards from Target. I have received 2 gift cards and given 1 gift card that doesn't work. The staff at target don't want to help you. They give you a number that doesn't help you either. You have to produce a receipt. Fortunately the one I gave a gift card to was my brother and I had scanned my red card so I had an electronic receipt. But how embarrassing to ask other people who gave you a gift for a receipt? TARGET STEALS YOUR MONEY!!!

I came in with the intention of purchasing a television for my significant other because it was our 13 years anniversary. I asked an individual for assistance he never came and we waited over 20 minutes. Thank god Brynne came by to assist us. She was very attentive and provided great customer service. She was very patient as we looked at different tv models. She assisted us for more than 45 minutes! We initially wanted a specific tv and it wasn't available. We chose a different one and thankfully Brynne found the one we wanted!!!! I was super excited that she found it after all!!! Brynne is the definition of Customer Service!!! When we were checking out Haylee was also very polite and made sure everything was up to par. For the inconvenience waiting for the other associate to come back Brynne gave us a gift card and apologized! I appreciate Brynne taking ownership and still making our experience here at Target AMAZING!! She deserves a promotion or raise!!!! Thank you so much :)

If there something you should know about the store is please do not buy any Target gift cards from this location, i bought a Target gift card for my sister and my nephew back in January for their birthday and when they try to used they were both at zero balance they were both use couple of days after purchase date, i call customer service and luckily they were good enough to replace both gift cards, i bought another Target gift card for my farther's birthday on April 14th today my father try using and again zero balance i call customer service they told me the card was used online on the 15th that's literally a say after purchase, there's definitely fraud happening at this location and is most likely by the employees there, i have to send proof that the gift card was purchase which i did and now waiting to see if i van get a replacement , i ask to have them an open investigation because this is not ok at all, how embarrassing is gifting a gift card and having the issued of not being able to used it

Store is nice and neat! But the girls bathroom is dirty everytime :( I know it gets busy at times but the bathroom is a place that should not neglected. Mothers come in with their babies sometimes needing a diaper change and I can only imagine how they feel about laying their baby on the changing station in such a dirty environment

Where do you start? First let's define the purpose of business. One sell a good product and service for a profit while filling the need of the customers. This store made a very foolish move. They restricted the self checkout to 10 items. So at 9:30 at night the self checkout is empty yet the one open line with a cashier has a line 8 baskets long. How many people will want to wait? If you have security 10 feet away and cameras up in the self checkout, why can't adults bag their own groceries? If I was a shareholder, I would be extremely upset.

Just purchased super smash bros from target. Come home and open the game and there's a 3D printed switch cartridge in there with a sticker to a completely different game. Come on target do some quality control on your returns. This is absolutely ridiculous, especially for spending $60+ on this. Do yourself a favor and go to GameStop for any game purchases. Doesn't surprise me as a local resident of Vallejo. I get times are tough but come on! I'm just glad a parent didn't purchase this as a gift for their kids. They would have been devastated! Customer service better be ready for me tomorrow morning because this is not cool.

The store itself is very nice. I parked my motorhome behind the back of the store and walked a ways to get to the front door. Here is my issue !!! When I was near my rv behind the store there was a car waiting and stopped near an exit to the street. A woman was standing near the back passenger door outside of the vehicle. As I am walking behind them with my purchases a man is running like hell to my left it seems from a back door of Target with a large box in his arms. He almost fell he was running so dang fast. He jumped in a white car. Possibly an older model Camry?? The metal hood ornament was missing. They had foil covering the back plate. And a foil cover must have fallen off the front plate. I saw it laying on the asphalt. Once they got into the car they almost hit a car because the getaway driver gunned the gas pedal to flee. I tried multiple times to call electronics. I tried customer service. Multiple times and nobody picked up. I let it ring forever. What's up with that ??? I am letting target know via Yelp. Thank u. It scared me. If I would have been couple minutes early who knows what would happened to me as a bystander.
