Absolutely horrible experience he is saying that I drove 88 miles when I only moved 1.4 miles away from my house. I’m still disputing with my bank to get my money back that I was overcharged. The man at this location won’t answer the phone he won’t open the gate, this is an absolute nightmare. He charged my credit card three times. Do not do business here stay far away from this business.

this location is a scam. He added 88 miles to my rental. I moved only 1.6 miles down the road and he charged my card 3 times. Absolutely ridiculous! Don't do business here

They add miles and change contracts after the return of the uhaul. It is sad that corporate hasn't dealt with them yet.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul if it wasn’t short notice and I had somewhere else to get a truck I would’ve done it. I asked for customer care to reach out to me so I can make a complaint and that still did not happen.

Added 40 miles to the contract and stated the gas tank was at 1/4 when it was empty. Also added $45 insurance when my reservation declined it. Got over almost $100 working this dude. Never again going with amy of the dealers in Vallejo because they always do shady business. Go to Solano Ave since they are the actual company and will take care of you profesionally

Deano took great care of my truck rental. He went over the top in customer service and I would recommend his U-Haul establishment to anyone.

I came to pick up my truck and trailer which they Guarantee on the website to be ready on time so the Gentleman comes to help me after im there 4-5 mins he comes from across the street with someone i assumed was the owner Then takez another few mins on his phone trying to figure something out after he finally did i did my part and sat in the car so he proceeded to walk back across the street mind you im paying a mover 20 hr and he's with me by 1:25 he walked out and said i got togo buy a tow hitch or you got toget one unless you brought one with you ??♂️??i canceled my reservation would never go back no customer service

If I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD ! Unfortunately, I was STUCK using this location because there were no available reservations at the other local location. I made my reservation DAYS in advance. Pick up time was 5pm for contactless pick up. I arrived at about 435-440 to give me enough time to check in online etc. I notice the gates are chained up, and the yard was filled with broke down, dusty, tireless, disgusting cars. It literally looked like an old junk yard or possibly pick-n-pull. Across from the location is a liquor store where a bunch of activities were going on, and eventually there were men looking in and pointing at my car, probably uncomfortable with me parked in front of them talking on my phone.. maybe I looked suspicious to them? Anyway, after attempting to contact the location by phone I found out the number doesn't work. Called the Uhaul 800 number and about 15mins in, was connected, only to be back on hold for another 45 mins until I hung up. Thankfully, my mom was on hold at the same time and her call went through so they basically said the person must have forgot I had a reservation and there was nothing they can do to get me my van. well, that's not cool. I had a scheduled reservation, I was there early, sat parked I front of a group of drug addicts who eventually started to taunt me, I had my 2 toddlers with me and my mom and my reservation just was forgotten? What an inconvenience!! They then sent me down the street to 316 Benicia rd. Saying THATS where the uhaul was. Wrong ! At 400 Benicia rd. There were 2 10ft trucks parked on the street, and my reserved van locked in a junk yard. How can someone leave early and not care that someone had a reservation? That's ridiculous. This place is unprofessional, dirty, the building is nasty and broke down, and we found out it is no longer a 24hr pickup / drop off location because it's such a high crime area ! The fact uhaul would even associate themselves with such a nasty place is terrible. They say the person who is running the uhaul location also uses the building for a "car wash" lol. Let me just say... save your time, your sanity, and protect yourself from going to this place. They don't even have information for the "manager" of this location. I will NEVER COME here again. They need to close this down!

What a joke, weren't even there when i went to pick up my reservation. Wouldn't answer the phone, finally got their attention when I hooked up the trailer....when I returned it, i made it just in time 10min before close. Gate was closed with guard dog barking, wouldn't answer phone, voicemail box full...only got their attention because we saw where they creeped out of last time when I picked it up. Went over and started yellin for him, finally came out complaining that we were calling, and that they close at 7 when it was 6:56 at the time after failed attempts to get ahold of him. The whole time while picking up the trailer, his attitude just made it seem like it was my fault, and even so when returning it, he never apologized for being unprofessional and kinda rude. Never going back here, plenty of other U-Haul options elsewhere ?

The Person who (assisted me) in making a reservation, kept putting me on hold and scheduled three customers while I was on the phone with him waiting ever so patiently to fit me in. I do not understand the rudeness or why my reservation was not correct. He told me that he sent the reservation to my email address without ever confirming what my email address was then told me he couldn't verify anything once he made the reservation! Very upsetting especially since he started my call with he and his friends could move me, he has his own truck. No thanks!! The next call was to where I was picking up on Solano Ave in Vallejo. Again an attitude from the woman answering the phone and No help to fix the reservation. I did get another number tho to the scheduling dept. Melody was a blessing! She fixed my reservation and had a very pleasant and professional attitude! The previous people were just rude! I'm bumping my stars up to 2 ONLY because if Melody!!! Otherwise they would get a Zero!
