I had to get a trailer hitch installed on my 2022 Kia. I made an appointment at the closest U-Haul center from my home. When I arrived to have my hitch installed the hitch was missing parts so they had to order another hitch. I had to change all my plans for a week later. It was a hassle but I changed everything for the next week. I had to call them when I had not got a confirmation that they had my new hitch and I was told it would be a couple weeks. I called U-Haul in Vallejo and spoke to the manager India. She said to let her see what she could do and she would call me back. She did call me back and had found me a hitch and was getting it rushed to their center so I could keep my plans for that week. When arrived at her center that hitch was mis-boxed and would not fit my car. India jumped on the phone found me another hitch and sent one of her employees to get it. I was delayed for a couple hours but thanks to India and her hard work and professionalism I was able to keep my plans. Thanks India!! I recommend this center under her supervision to everyone. She gets the job done!

The cashier and her associate kept interrupting each other in a hostile way. It was impossible to communicate with the Rude clerk, and they both encouraged the people in line to get involved in our conversation as well. They have this awkward policy where they want to call someone you know, but they don’t tell you until it’s already time to check out. The lady is very loud and hostile when she brings up this mysterious policy that doesn’t seem ethical. The clerk has no problem being aggressive and repeatedly likes to complain about previous people stealing trucks, and uses that as an excuse to be rude to you. Why do I as a customer have to hear this supposedly professional person complaining about criminals? Me and the person before me walked out because we couldn’t handle the lady. On a side note, I was left stranded in the middle of Vallejo. Unfriendly and hostile staff. Wouldn’t recommend.

I would like to leave a review specifically for Indya Gibson! I had a rough start with getting the U-Haul I had booked on a Monday for saturday. The Friday before my reservation I was called and informed the size I wanted wasn’t available I would have to go pick it up from a different city. I was upset and frustrated. Once I arrived to the Vallejo location Indya did everything she could to accommodate me. She had a lot of patience and a positive attitude. I could tell she really tries her best to make sure the customers are satisfied. U-haul is lucky to have her as an employee. I hope she gets recognition and credit after this review is posted! Thank you again Indya for amazing and above & beyond service.

Had a good experience here. I checked in online myself to save time then was able to get my keys from the front. There was a mix up wih the accessories I ordered but the woman at the counter was able to refund me and charge me out for the item I needed right then and there. When I returned luckily someone was already outside. They checked the puck up truck over and gave me my final total and I was done! Thanks to everyone there!
I also want to point out other customers they were helping seemed happy as well. Good atmosphere and experience :)

I was ignored by the manager and the employee there for five minutes while i stood there staring at them waiting for help. They kept looking at me and ide go to talk and theyde turn around and keep ignoring me. These guys are the scummiest people ive ever rented from in my life and i will never ever go back to that location. They were dirty and gross workers with horrible attitudes

Textbook model of what customer service is supposed to be. They accommodated us in very little time with a utility trailer when we were in a pinch and also helped us with a fuse that needed to be replaced. Proud to be a Vallejo native and coming back to visit, this location didn’t disappoint.

Truck was not in good condition when inspection was completed. Tires had a problem. Gas gauge wasn’t reading correctly. I had to fill 1 gallon for 9 miles used. When I called the reps were useless and couldn’t help.
