I used to come home from work around 245 to 3am... One night while making a left on to Davidson, I noticed someone with long hair on a brown horse, brown saddle and all . It was a quick second , had to focus on the road. I tried to convince myself that it might’ve been an officer on patrol on a horse but I’ve never seen APD on horseback’s at 3 am. . I’m not crazy I know what I saw.

I dont like leaving bad reviews. I really don't. I used to like the Vallejo location, but it has gone down in recent years. Even before the pandemic. For the past few years, I've actively avoided going to the location when I can, only going when I'm pressed for time or out of options. Often times I come for personal or work, however they will be randomly closed, and there have been times were there was a "back in 15 min" sign and we waited a good 30 minutes before anyone even opened the door. They don't communicate their hours, and I felt like I won the lottery when they answered their phone. It's a rarity, I have better luck finding a unicorn in my backyard. The staff here has been rude, not knowledgeable about some of the basic services, and have gotten my change/withdrawals wrong on more than one occasion. They could be having off days every day I'm there, perhaps. But I really really doubt it if it's this consistently bad. Benicia has an amazing staff, professional, pleasant and helpful. They go above and beyond for me... I'm so thankful they remain open (Vallejo is closing this month). Without Benicia's location, I would have left the Umpqua as a whole because of Vallejo's customer service. Or lack thereof.

The staff are awesome and hardworking folks. I keep on forgetting to make an appointment during the by "appointment only" system but they were able to squeeze me to do my banking. The ladies always have a smile on their faces and willing to help. The gentleman who has a desk is very helpful. They have a welcoming atmosphere and make you feel you are part of their family. This bank is great. There's nothing to complain about. When there something wrong you can call or Go-To App them. If no one answers, they will call back. Donna is always there to help me and she takes care of my transactions well. She has always been there whenever I need help. I hope she stays long. I hope they all stay long.

Coming from first responder and US Army veteran... dont bank here! They never answer the phone, horrible customer service since Matt left. Always closed , cant take out more than 300 daily, cant zelle more than 500 ... useless. After working hard for your money and try to withdrawal more than $2000 ya need a security clearance and letter from president. Which us all BS. Please dont bank here unless ya want your money held hostage!! Banked wit them pass 15 years thank god i have another account in which I opened because of another similar incident getting my hard earned cash out of this location. So if ya want a bank that will only accept your deposites then go here. Good luck tryna withdrawal what you deposite! You been warned!

Been with Umpqua for 10 years and love it. Seldom any waiting & friendly clerks that know your name. Still has that small town bank feeling.

Hidden fees up the wah-zoo. Banks are scumbags, but at least do your best to hide it, guys.
