Brick n Barn, located in Valley Center CA in the historic former “Betty Crocker” home, is a charming and unique destination that is worth a visit. Open only one weekend a month, it offers a delightful experience for visitors of all interests. The property features beautiful gardens and a barn filled with antiques, creating a nostalgic atmosphere that transports visitors back in time. The setting is complemented by a variety of local vendors selling handmade and artistic items, such as custom aprons and fused glass jewelry and decor. Visitors can enjoy browsing through these wares, often accompanied by friendly vendors who provide engaging and warm service. Food options include baked goods like sourdough and cranberry walnut loaves, cookies, and pastries, along with beverages from food trucks, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal or snack. The antique barn is a treasure trove of diverse goods, presented in a fun and sensory-overload style, offering a wide range of items that appeal even to those who aren’t antique enthusiasts. The purchase process is cleverly organized with numbered clothespins, which makes shopping easier and more convenient. Visitors often leave with unique finds and a sense of community, as the staff welcomes everyone warmly. The grounds are serene, with roaming animals such as geese, turkeys, and peacocks adding to the country charm. Although signage could be improved for better directions, parking is generally ample, and facilities are clean, with concessions and vendors providing additional convenience. Overall, Brick n Barn is a hidden gem that combines shopping, food, and community in a picturesque country setting, making it a memorable and enjoyable day trip.
Great place to browse and have lunch from a vendor.

There is parking, a clean toilet, and everything is pretty good. There are concessions and local vendors too. However, there's not much ventilation in the barn, so I don't recommend going on a hot day.
