I went there for stouts because I knew they'd have a selection unlike anywhere in North County! I was not wrong. The butchers (yes they have real butchers not meat stockers) remember my favorite cuts of meat. The guy in produce will talk your head off about the best way to prepare "His" fruits and vegetables. What can you say about the bakery and Deli except "YUMM"”

“Just off the main pathway, this is a great place to take break. The Sambutan Longhouse has a good sized display of relics and decor. There is a bar ideal for a beer or two as well as a small retail area to purchase safari Park memorabilia. With about four or five round dining tables and chairs, it is a good spot to relax and take in the views of the attraction next door. There is a small restroom as well which is not really frequented so there is never a line. If you prefer to bring your own food, you can do that too and enjoy it here.”

“I really enjoy this place; second visit... first visit was 3 years back. same cars in the barn and the outbuilding at the top of the hill. The cars in the barn are particularly forlorn with debris inside them, flat tires... they are housed, but not well taken care of, which is a crying shame. as if someone just decided to give up on them. still, nice enough place to visit.”

“I ordered some whiskey online to be shipped to me in another state. As mentioned by their website, it took 5 days for my items to leave their store (not including weekends). Once shipped, it was about 5 more days with UPS before they got to me. They arrived very well packaged and without issue. In total it took 10 days from my order being placed until I had them in my hands. I have seen other reviews that mention problems with getting any response when there are issues with their order, since I did not have any issues, I can't speak to that. My experience was good overall. Would order from again”

“I've been in a couple times and they've been nothing but nice and had what I was looking for ready to go and at a reasonable price. One time I actually got to the counter and rang up and the dude working there told the woman ringing me up "Oh, that one says $24 but it's $19 right now, it should be marked down", he didn't need to, just a solid honest gesture. Really bad Mexican soap opera blaring on the TV but hey that's part of the charm.”

“This is my go to spot since our Esconddio location closed. I did notice the aisles are a lot tighter and a little harder to get through if the store is packed. Other than that I found that this store is super clean (bathrooms included) the few times i've visted there is always several cashiers available making it quick for you to make your purchase and be out in less than 10 minutes. Produce is always being restocked and fresh too! Everything was well organized and easy to find.”
