“It has almost anything you could need if you are an artist that paints, or someone that uses a sketchbook.
They have materials for you to make your own custom canvas and high quality paints in different mediums. The store also has a good variety of sketchbooks to choose from, made for most mediums. (They also have cute washi tape that I love).
For it being a smaller sized store compared to the average supply store, it’s filled to the brim with great materials. I love going there for materials. It is the best art supply store I’ve ever shopped at.”
“My favorite place. Very knowledgeable, helpful and always have the customer in mind. Open to taking pieces to your home to insure it is the right piece for you. We have bought multiple pieces from them and love every one”

“We visited a couple of local framing shops before choosing Richard at Brentwood Art & Framing. His frame selection stood out—much more appealing than what we saw elsewhere—and his prices were very reasonable. Richard finished our project ahead of schedule and even helped arrange delivery for our 4' x 5' oil painting. The new piece has completely transformed the vibe of our living room.
Getting the frame right for such a large piece is really important, and we’re so glad we found Richard. We have another 4' x 5' painting on the way for a different room, and there’s no question—we’ll be going back to Richard to make sure it gets the perfect frame, too.”

“I have never been more welcomed in store ever in my life! The ladies here are beyond amazing! We were just in the area and happened to come across this store. We walked in and were really just looking around. I found a cool pin for a friend and safety pin earrings. My husband loves beaded bracelets and came across this multi-colored bracelet, but it was a little small. He asked if they had one in a larger size, which they didn't. The ladies did him one better, they offered to make the bracelet larger for him and let him know he could pick it up the next day. Even went so far as to tell him not to feel obligated to pick it up.
Thank you all for the good vibes, great convo and great customer service ❤️
We appreciate everything you're doing and everything you stand for.”
“One of our favorite shops in LA. Wacko is the perfect gift store. From kitsch apron to esoteric books, from mushroom designed lamps to silicon finger puppet, weird socks and so much more, be prepared to spend quite some time in there checking all the amazing stuffs they have!”
“Spent some time while waiting on the Los Angeles rock tour to start and was blown away by the pictures and history of rock and roll in the gallery. Amazing place, could have spent all day looking through all the items there”
“Love this park.
I've been going there ever since I was a child.
I've already done a Maps review on the park with photos and this just popped up to rewrite it so and being there up there today was really nice it's like I'm going back home and you know tons of school buses tons of children it's a great family park with a Japanese tea house with koi fish and turtles and the tons of hiking trails and baseball diamonds and a really nice children's play area and of course the the brand Park library.
And if you take a little hike, you can find the Brand family burial cemetery and Mr brand himself is actually buried in a pyramid.”

“I have entrusted Tori and the team at The Picture Framing Co for several years and have never been disappointed! The quality of work is outstanding. Tori is especially great at recommending frame options and placement. They have a great variety of wood floating frames and more modern metals. Great to work with and fun shop! Pop in.”

“Came here for Mathieu Bitton's Paris Blues Q/A artist talk on 2/25/24. What an incredible artist, photographer, designer, producer, and grammy winner. He shared marvelous stories of his upbringing in Paris, venturing to flea markets, buying up rare vinyl records, and his love for Prince. He spoke about moving to Los Angeles at age 14 to be with his mother and being immersed in the LA culture. He also touched on him moving to New York to attend NYU boarding school. This is where his career really blossomed. As of right now, Mathieu Bitton has designed over 1000 LPs and CDs. He is a world-renowned collector of Black films. He has worked with and photographed many celebrities and recording artists. He was recently given a grammy for his work with Dave Chappelle. What truly amazing life stories. We had an amazing time with an amazing person. Can not wait for the book signing!”

“We felt so lucky to be in town during the Paul McCartney photography exhibition at the Gagosian, what an unforgettable experience! The photos were moving, personal, and beautifully presented. It was such a treat to see this side of the iconic Paul
MC Cartney and the Beatles!
The gallery staff were fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions. The space itself is spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully laid out. While it’s not a huge venue, it’s the perfect size to take your time and really enjoy the work without feeling overwhelmed.
Plus, it’s in a great part of town, making it easy to stroll around and grab a coffee or bite to eat afterward. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area — we loved it!”
“This gallery is wonderfully eclectic and constantly evolving, so it never feels boring. Every visit offers something different new artists, new styles, new energy not the same old thing other galleries have. I love coming here; each month there’s always something fresh, unexpected, and genuinely interesting to discover.”
“Just came in to get a custom frame for artwork i got in Mexico. Loved their attention to detail and they're very welcoming and offer new ideas to help you get an idea of what you can do. Definitely recommend. 10/10”

“Im a huge collector of medicom and bape etc. I was in search of a couple of collectibles and I stumbled upon these guys. I was a bit hesitant but I reached out and had them take pics for me on certain items and I was sold! Great customer service. I bought about 3 to 4 beautiful gems through out the past year or so! This last item I bought definitely took the cake! Thanks to Aaron and Emanuel. Keep it you guys ! Cheers!”

“What a wonderful place! It goes way beyond the usual hardware store. It's a museum in itself and worth your time just to see the beautiful craftsmanship of the antique door knobs and every manner of hardware. It's a trip into the past in a good way!”
“Beyond blessed to have this place for my daughter. She is embracing art. Thank you Mrs. Sykes. Such fond memories of this place growing up here in the 80's.”
“I felt like I was in a strange, different dimension, beyond just having good taste. However, the woman at the reception is very kind and there is a warm atmosphere. When I was having trouble finding a way to get home, he called me a taxi.”
“I think it’s safe to consider myself a long time customer of LA Art Angels now or at least one of their crazier customers. Wonderfully appointed gallery with a collection designed to stun and inspire. Recently part of my collection from them had the privilege of being highlighted in LUX interior and design. Jacquelin is terrific and she acts like I don’t bother her with questions and inquiries all the time which I do.”
“Unprecedented artists, craftsmanship, customer service and loyalty. I wouldn't think of bringing any projects to anyone other than Sandy and Bobbie at Picture Perfect.”

“I’ve had only good experiences with Clark’s. I’ve bought several items in several auctions, online and in person. I’ve also bought other items from around the country and shipping is almost always expensive, regardless of distance or purchase price. The most important factors are size and weight. So you might get a great deal for $200 but if it’s a large item and you’re not local, you might pay $200 shipping- not because you’re being ripped off, but because it’s a large or heavy item and that’s what it costs to pack and ship.”
“UTA's Artist Space is a very nice gallery space for exhibiting paintings and such. I've been there several times and the production and professionalism is always top tier.”
“The best place in Los Angles to find hand made ceramics, jewelry and other craft items. Many long time and well know ceramic artists sell their works here. I just picked up four beautiful bowls for my wife's birthday.”

“An amazing journey into the old and new Persian bookstore. An owner with true love for book and book reading. An art which is slowly disappearing in our socially. A real bookstore with the touch of personality. I would go back for sure and chat with the owner.”
“Commonwealth and Council is a Koreatown art gallery of fairly long standing, open since 2010. I'm actually surprised that it doesn't have a Yelp presence, but I guess the people who go there are probably cool and interesting and not losery Yelpers like me (sorry Yelpers). I went for the first time last month, when I hadn't been anywhere close to an art gallery or comparable place in a very long time. I made an appointment online (this was free and straightforward--just had to book a time slot, so they could adhere to COVID guidelines) and showed up a little late (they did not care). Street parking was easy enough on a Thursday afternoon, but I had a moderately hard time finding the actual gallery. It's in the same building as OB Bear, but you have to find the doorway with the Alcoholics Anonymous sign. (A piece of L.A. history here: this is the first Spanish-speaking chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is also right next to a place called Amigos Liquor.) There's a door code to get in, then you go upstairs and make a couple of turns through a neglected hallway. Then, there it is--a welcoming, lovingly maintained art gallery full of light and beauty and fascination. When I went, there was a show by a single artist, Carolina Caycedo. That show has already ended, so I won't dwell on it, but it was pretty affecting. Sculpture and painting and collage thoughtfully arrayed. I eavesdropped while one of the gallery workers gave a thorough, intriguing tour of some of the pieces. The current exhibition includes an artist I've been casually stalking for the last few years named Kang Seung Lee. I'll have to make it back before that show is over. I talked to one of the gallery's directors, and he was great, very forthcoming and obviously passionate about the gallery. I guess Commonwealth and Council started in the owner's apartment at that intersection in Historic Filipinotown, only moving to this location when the landlord caught on. The space had fire damage (luckily escaped damage from the OB Bear fire) that had been covered with cinderblocks, and the owner and his artist friends got creative in both fixing and incorporating the scars. The gallery is really a family of these artists, a group of emerging and established names who seem to really support and like each other. Anyway, if you're interested in L.A.'s art scene, Commonwealth and Council should definitely be on your radar. It's a unique place that exhibits excellent work. I'm glad I went, and look forward to going again.”
