Signed up for 6 weeks of small group training, more like personal training. I'm learning proper form to avoid injury and I've made it through the first 3 weeks! Love it here! Friendly members, very knowledgeable staff, and awesome music!!! (I've been told by others that they have amazing equipment here but honestly I don't know much about that).

Did a six week membership to try get control of my weight and understand calories. I started at 214lb and 28% body fat, and 4.5 weeks later I'm 201lb with 24% body fat. Great app for tracking workouts and calories! Coaches are very hands on!

This is one of those businesses that care way more about your money than you. You don't have to take my word for it, see the other low reviews on yelp. I got suckered into an ad that said they guarantee you meet your goals in 6 weeks or they will work with you for free till you do. I found out later that's not true, and the timeline depends on their excel sheet formula. False advertising, but oh well. Spoke to ronson in my initial consultation and he just put my stats into some excel sheet with formulas that spit out how long it would take to get to my body fat % goal and matched it with their package's pricing. It didn't matter to Ronson which one I picked, as long as I picked one right then, which meant the 1x1/classes were pointless. Admittedly, I was gullible and signed up by paying an $802 down payment and $45 per week over 18 weeks after ronson pressured me into choosing something. After I went home and thought about it, that's like $1600 for just nutrition guidance and a workout plan that I could get off google. Also, they make you weigh yourself every morning and take a picture of every meal you eat (which would be super annoying) otherwise you'd break their contract. I called them the next morning and said I decided to not continue with the program, but they wouldn't refund the down payment even though I haven't started anything. After talking to them a few times, they still rather keep my money, so now I have to go through my credit card company to raise a dispute. Instead, I found another gym that offers 1x1 training with nutritional guidance for less than half the cost of moses fitness. This other place actually got to know me and cares about my goals, unlike moses fitness which is all about the money. If you are thinking of joining moses fitness, you could find a better gym that cares about you that would be way less expensive. Or just eat healthy and workout 3 times a week, which is all you would have got from moses fitness anyway and save thousands of dollars. Again, you don't have to believe me, others on yelp had problems with overcharging. Even the manager told me this wasn't the first time someone had to go through their credit card company to try to get a refund.

so glad to have found Moses fitness, a community gym focused on accountability and commitment to approachable, result driven weight training. Although they've had turnover with their nutrition staff, I've especially appreciated the nutrition aspect of the workouts and their friendly and amazing coaches and staff (shout out to Jon B and new coach Iliana!)

I have always liked working out, but my problem was my diet. I needed a change and Moses Fitness have given me that. I've been training with Jon Bruice for 3 weeks now and I've already had weight loss and my eating habits have improved vastly. I'm held accountable by tracking my food and workouts on the app, even in this short time I've already started lifting heavier and feeling stronger. I no longer have excuses with all the healthy options they provided and the results make me just wanna keep going! I also love that the gym is 24/7 and although the gym is small there is hardly ever a wait for a machine. It is expensive, but worth it is you want results!

Watch out! I had a really bad experience with the gym owner Ronson. Initially I got there by answering an online add that says, "we are looking for 8 more people that want to transform their body" Well that's right there is where the unethical sales techniques started. They called me for a meeting where Ronson tried to sell me a $5000 training package right there on the spot, not even 10 minutes in, Once I declined Ronson started to climb down offering me "more affordable packages" starting at $3000 than $1500 etc. Once I declined to those as well because I knew nothing about this gym which ended up being a super mediocre practice anyway, but we will get to that too... He finally found a way to convince me to start today by signing up on a "week to week, cancel anytime basis" type of membership at $150 per week, Which is a pretty high number as well. But I signed up, and Rolandson pulled up his computer and made me sign on a contract on the fly, Knowing I can cancel any time, I signed. (no so much in reality) I told to my self that if I go for it and I sign up, I will give it a fair chance of at least 3 months to fully experience the place. Well after those 3 months ended, I wasn't so impressed with their program and what they have to offer and decided to cancel. I sent a message through their app to my personal trainer which they assigned me to that I won't continue with the program and I've decided to cancel. Looking on my bank in the end of the month I was so surprised to find out they kept charging me on weekly basis. That's where I found out that I can't cancel on the spot and I have to pay 4 weeks out of pocket before I can cancel my membership because "THATS WHAT THE CONTRACT SAYS" Which I never had to chance to read before I signed since Ronson was busy with signing me up at any price. Well when I reached out to Ronson and asked to reverse those four payments that accrued in my bank account after cancellation, He argued and insisted to stick to that contract. I never read. I was trying to talk sense to him but all I got back is rejection and defensiveness. Showing zero customer service skills and work ethics. I ended up paying for those 4 weeks that I haven't use. Very very disappointing and I do not recommend anyone to this gym. If you're looking for mediocres, that's the spot for you

I've been coming to Moses fitness for about a year now and have never been happier. The structured lifting classes are great and has the benefits of having someone like a personal trainer to coach and correct you but the freedom of doing it at your own pace and level (as long as you're trying your best). John H. does the morning classes and they're amazing! He helps you modify the workouts based on your level while also challenging you. The community is incredibly kind and supportive. As a woman it was important for me to come into a safe, positive environment and I found it here at moses. I initially started with their hybrid program where you're assigned a nutrition coach who gives you meal perimeters. I met my goals and have been coming for just the weight training classes ever since. 100/10 recommend!

Leaving this here on yelp too! I'm starting my third month here at Moses Fitness and so I feel I have enough experience to give a thoughtful review. Facilities: 24hr access is awesome. The facility itself is small compared to chain gyms but not cramped, just right for most of the class sizes and when there isn't a class I've found that I have the place mostly to myself which I love. There are multiple bathrooms all clean, lockers, towel service, water dispenser and vending machine with healthy choices. All the weights and machines are there that you need for any kind of workout. Weight vests, sled, racks, cardio machines, kettle bells, everything and they are kept after well. Cleanliness: outstanding all around too they have a dedicated cleaning and maintenance guy that does an impeccable job. Haven't felt like it needed to be cleaned and everyone is typically respectful of the gym too. I am doing a 15 week program and I'm down 10lbs and about 2% body fat. Nutrition wise it's science based, calorie deficit and that's it, no BS diets or special ways to eat and it works. Coaches: The coaching is excellent too. I have been to multiple classes with about 4 different coaches and I have found that while they vary slightly in some techniques they all are uniform in making sure I'm doing the proper exercises safely and with the correct weight and form. I have found myself liking the afternoon class the most only because it fits my schedule and it has less people. That being said the 9:30am class was what I started with and it's also excellent. Class exercises are written on the white board and you can do them on your own time if you don't like group classes. I hate to play favorites because I like both of the Jons but I go to Jon Buice's class the most so I'll speak about him here (still love you morning Jon). Jon Buice has been a great coach/trainer. He doesn't do a one size fits all approach but instead works with you and your body. He has been great and modifying exercises for me when I have a joint issue or giving alternatives. He's personable and encouraging but he's not there to bullshit you and will tell you the truth which I find important in a trainer. I would recommend either classes to anyone and definitely would recommend Moses Fitness to friends and family. Price wise it certainly isn't cheap and I know this can deter some people. I would say if a long program like mine is out of your price range go for a month long or 6 week one and use it as a stepping stone. I use planet fitness to workout when I can't get to Moses and utilize their workouts while I'm there and away. My daily coach Jeremy who I check in with and send meals to gives me workouts when I'm away and has been great at working with my body and goal and he's a great trainer when he subs in! It's worth checking out and I feel for the money I have gotten a good amount of value and the accountability through their app has helped astronomically in keeping me on track. Check them out!

I've been with this gym and Edgar for two weeks and this is by far the best experience I've had with a personal trainer. Someone that understands my goals and gives me realistic and achievable steps to get there. The staff and patrons are all nice and welcoming, highly recommend this gym!
