I came to the post office and stood in a fairly long line. At some point, I noticed a woman with a baby who walked in but didn’t get in line. I didn’t pay much attention at first.
When it was finally my turn, that same woman suddenly stepped forward and was served instead of me.
She did not ask anyone for permission to go ahead. The staff clearly saw that she had not been waiting, yet they said nothing and simply allowed her to skip the line. They didn’t check with the people ahead of her, nor did they make any effort to maintain fairness.
Having a baby is not an excuse for rudeness or entitled behavior. I didn’t want to cause a scene, but this situation was absolutely unacceptable.
Unfortunately, it only reinforces the idea that people like her can use a child as a free pass to ignore basic respect and order — and the staff will support it by saying nothing.
A line exists for a reason. Everyone deserves to be treated equally — parent or not.
Maybe next time I should bring a dog or a cat with me to skip the line without asking anyone. Or is this kind of behavior only acceptable when you have a child (who, honestly, you might not even need to bring to the post office)? It's not an emergency nor Titanic.
Maybe I should get a reborn doll and avoid the queue that way.

Went to deliver a package that I had from Amazon and the package was only needed to be taped it on the top of it and the girl who was helping me told me that they couldn't tape it (there were 2 different tapes there next to her. ) she told me that I had to buy my own they have for $3.99! And when I was trying to tape it she was kept asking me to move aside so she could take other people… took me 30 seconds to tape it… is just the service really felt not welcoming.
Leason tape everything when you go to this place because they will make you buy a tape…
At least I have a new tape!!

The tall female postal employee was very rude and abrupt during my two visits here when I was trying to pickup my package. She asked for my ID and instead of giving it back to me like a person she instead throws it at me like I’m some sort of rabid animal. My package says fragile/handle with care yet this postal “employee” just drops the package on top of the counter without any care nor respect for my property. Plus, the package is falling apart (see attached pictures) from her mishandling my fragile package. Such despicable behavior but not surprising for a typical government employee.

I am surprised about some of the negative comments. This has been my post office for 20 years and I have never found the staff less than courteous and professional.

I see bad reviews on this location but honestly it has been the best post office that I have found! I normally drop 60+ items per week and NONE of my packages have been stolen, I used to go to the Van Nuys one and like 8 packages got lost and I had to refund my clients , they’re so nice , there’s a Latina girl helping in the front that she’s always so nice to me , and even the one that scans the packages in the back a told guy he’s also so nice , I really trust them a lot , and I see a lot of people dropping items here and I’m pretty sure they trust this place too , they always have a lot of drop offs

This rating is due to no fault from the employees. The place is chronically understaffed, especially proportional to the number of people it serves. It is way more run down than other post offices I've been to and always has a long line. I just feel like post offices should get more funding and staffing if they serve more people, but it does not seem like the case here.

Paul, you are low level person. You didn't provide piece of tape for prepaid labels to pregnant woman. I hope you get same kind of compassion in your life. Plus all you deserve. I really appreciate and thank people when they smile, being nice, help, so I do always. Over probably 10 years this is first time someone would be so low considering even this is usps office.
