I call ahead of time to book my car rental, even alerting them that I was on my way, not even 30 mins later, It’s 3:14, I get here and the door is locked, although the signs says they are open. When I call, the rudest man picks up the phone only to say we are at lunch, be there in 45 mins. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Why would every one be at lunch at 3:00 pm in the afternoon, when I just explained I was on the way. They will not be getting any of my money, because clearly they do not want it… smh.

I read all reviews but my experience was good with 699 rent A car.located on van nuys . I left my car in mechanic and I need the car right away and as soon as I contact 699 rent a car . They welcome me to their office . John was very friendly and gave some option for color of the car like to drive . He made all paper work ready fast and the price was reasonable. The day after I returned the car and John took care of the all paper work . That was convenient experience for me .

Drove on Toll Roads without knowing 8/13/2021. They said they were given notice on 8/30/2021. I was not giving notice till they changed $129.29 date 9/8/2021. They suggest to dispute the ticketed $64. I was made aware that the policy for disputing would of have to been by not paying the ticket then they would have been able to help. I wanted to know why did they take so long to tell me also the owner of the vehicle could have given me the initial ticket which would have been 50 cent but they took longer than the 5 day period. This gave the opportunity for this company to charge $35 for administrative fee. Then they said that because I didn't make the ticket payment within a 3 day period they will charge $100. They charged a total amount of $65 for opening an account with Toll Roads to make the payment. THIS IS A COMPANY YOU CAN'T PUT YOUR TRUST IN WARNING!!!

The car we were given on day 2 was giving us warning signs first about low air on the tire then check the engine then the oil ??♀️ if I managed the place i would check all vehicles before renting them. Oh well

Their prices are more like ten times $6.99 You can get better deals and better service everywhere else, don't be fooled by the name. The cars are always at least a few years old, and very used (i.e.- they do not have new or late model cars, however they charge as if they were new. Some of their cars are really messed up. Make sure to take pictures and make notes of the dings and damages before you leave in the car and cross reference them with the agent in advance, and check for burn holes in the seats etc.

DO NOT RENT HERE!! Horrible customer service. He gave me a car with the tail light out. I only had it for less than 3 hours because I had to go back to work so I returned it right after. He still charged me a WHOLE DAY for it and even said on the invoice I had for for 1 day 5 hours. He didn't want to give me a full refund and tried to make an excuse and say it's not bad to have the light out. I will never come back. If I can give no stars, I would! HORRIBLE

So hubby wrecked his car (he's fine!) and we turned to 699 RentACar as we've dealt with them before.. John is awesome. He was readily available when we had to swap our rental, super friendly and their rentals are at a great price. Will definitely see John again if we need a rental in the future and I will certainly recommend to my friends and family.

I just called Van Nuys Office to ask questions about their rental policies and was giving this guy who answered scenarios like if they accept apple pay or I want to pay for the rental but has an ID but will add my son as the driver as we will be travelling together...he abruptly say no and hang up. Customer service is 0 stars...rude.

Luis C was incredibly helpful through the car buying process. This was my first time buying a new car from a dealership and to be honest I was very nervous about the process. Luis eased my nerves like I never thought was possible in this situation. I had zero pressure from him and he went at my speed.
