I understand they gave some people a heads up and i understand they probably have financial reasons for making this change but it was pretty disappointing to hear that the credits I earned just got whiped. I come hear sparingly as I mostly read digital these days so I wasnt aware of any changes to their system either. Other than that the guys here are super friendly and always help me find what I want with a smile.”

I brought them into the shop and we worked out all the details right there. They had an endless number of options for mats and frames. From discussing what I needed to picking out materials and finalizing the order, the whole process was super easy. The final price matched the quote given on the phone and was less than other framers I called. No secret fees or adjustments. Well I could tell you the one I go to,just might be the one!in this art class it is all ages and if your not sure if it’s right you can get a free try out. Here in this art class you can learn how to paint,draw,blend,and do techniques!You could also make cards and paint a painting as a gift with the card! When you come in there ready to do some art but don’t know what to do? Well she will give you options but if you don’t like any of them she has these beautiful books with beautiful photos you could paint or draw but if your looking for something specific well she has these iPads that you could choose from but if it’s not on there you could tell her and she could search it up!Also every once in a while she does donations to places so she could help people I went to one and bought a beautiful painting!Im also glad I helped!also after the class she gives you optional candy just one though”

“Jeffrey Deitch Gallery on Orange Drive in Los Angeles is one of the most dynamic spaces in the city and tonight’s visit for the opening of It Smells Like Girl confirmed why it remains essential. The gallery at 925 N. Orange Drive has the scale and clarity to showcase large works, yet the curation always feels intimate and purposeful. The exhibition itself is both beautiful and provocative, a collaboration with Company Gallery in New York. It brings together over 30 women artists exploring ideas around hysteria, emotion, repression, performance, and power. Walking through the space, you feel each room asking new questions, balancing quiet reflection with bold confrontation. Nadia Lee Cohen’s installation centered on “Mother” was especially striking, pulling you into a hyper real world that is cinematic, unsettling, and unforgettable. Martine Syms and Juliana Huxtable also stood out with work that carried weight and urgency, tackling identity and representation in ways that demand attention. One of the surprises for me was a charcoal work by Robert Longo rendered in such staggering detail it echoed the energy of a Pollock yet with total control of form. The contrast between the chaos of gesture and the precision of light and shadow was mesmerizing. The crowd was as much a part of the experience as the art itself. The opening drew serious collectors, curators, and artists, the recognizable faces of the Los Angeles art scene, making the night feel like a cultural event. Deitch continues to create shows that matter, that leave you charged and inspired. It Smells Like Girl is a must see and Jeffrey Deitch Gallery is one of the city’s true treasures.”

“ARTY ADVENTURES Discovered this funky, boho space in Valley Village when a friend was sharing one of her hilarious 15-minute stories here. Loved the hippy-dippy vibe, the resident dove, the roomy seating and the low lights. There are all kinds of creative happenings here, but if you want to be emotionally moved and entertained, check out the incredible Story Salon on specific Friday nights for about $10. Doors open at 7PM, and the show begins at 7:30PM. Four people presented their tales for fifteen minutes each. On most Wednesdays at 7:30PM, you can also catch a variety of folks trying out their 5-minute pieces. You never know who will perform, and there are all kinds of complimentary snacks. Hit the parlor for an arty evening.”
