“The very best Bike Shop in the valley it’s not the biggest shop but it’s the best customer service Bike Shop in the valley if you’d like being called by your first name and getting great customer service this is the place to go”
“Hrach was a great help to find all the accessories need for my new frame. Knew his stuff & bought some additional clothing items. Drove from south OC on another's recommendation . Thanks!”
“I took my electrical bike because the back wheel had issues. They fixed it and now my bike runs like new! Recommend this shop for people who are looking for great customer service and a great outcome.”
“I hadn't done any maintenance on my ebike since I bought it 2 years ago so you can imagine how bad it needed it. I thought I only needed a tune up but there were a lot of issues with my bicycle I didn't know about. These guys went above and beyond to get it all done in a timely manner. They're affordable as well. Best e-bike shop I've ever been to. No matter where you're coming from, it's worth the drive for the quality of work.”
“The customer service is over the top! They are so knowledgeable and helpful. Our bike rack was broken so they delivered our repaired bikes quickly and for a very fair price. This is not the closest bike shop to my house but worth the drive.”
“Been a customer for almost 5 years. This is the only bike repair shop I recommend. Always kind employees and excellent customer service. They carry many accessories and parts in store. Good prices.”

“Driving through Topanga Canyon yesterday I finally stopped in to explore this unique and intriguing store and was so happy I did. Chris and Eric were so kind and friendly, the shop was warm and inviting and the handmade leather products beautiful. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.”
“I love this place. They have great customer service, they super friendly, and they are knowledgeable about bikes in general. My partner has bought a bike from them a long time ago and i also bought a road bike from them in the past. Just recently, I bought a carbon fiber bike on FB marketplace and brought it to YG Bicycles as I value and trust their opinion. They tuned up my bike and aligned my wheels at a very reasonable price! They also reassured me that I paid a good price for the bike I now have, which brought me a sense of peace! I would definitely keep coming back if I have any future bike problems!”
“I brought my 26 year old Raleigh mountain bike here to have the gears serviced after they seized up. Jim (the owner) was upfront about the cost, which was a lot less expensive than I thought, and said he would call when it was ready. Thinking that it was going to take a day or two, I was surprised when a few hours later he called me to tell me it was ready.
I highly recommend Burbank Bike Shop. Jim and his colleagues are knowledgeable, polite and they know how to fix bikes - which is why I'm giving them 5 stars!”
“I can’t say enough good things about Nir. He’s the kind of mechanic you hope to find, the one who actually cares about your bike as much as you do.
Over the past few months, he’s done a ton of work for me across multiple bikes. He’s fitted me twice, once for a triathlon TT bike and once for an aero road bike. Both sessions were detailed, tailored, and spot-on. It wasn’t just plug-and-play measurements, Nir took the time to really understand my position, how I ride, and what needed fine-tuning.
He’s also built an entire bike for me from scratch, literally from a box of parts. That included Di2, internal hydraulic brakes, fresh cables, bar tape, new brake pads — the works. He stayed past closing time to finish it, and then walked me through the whole setup just to make sure everything was solid.
Beyond the big stuff, Nir has helped me with small but critical things: fixing squeaky brakes, replacing pads, installing new tires and wheels, and recommending thoughtful upgrades without ever upselling. He always explains what he’s doing, why, and what to watch for next. That’s rare.
And most importantly, Nir just knows his craft. He is a master. His shop is stocked with everything you might need, from everyday parts to high-performance gear. It's clean, professional, and built around real riders.
Bottom line: I trust Nir with all my bikes, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.”

“I don’t know why I haven’t come here before to get my other bikes serviced or repaired, because their service is really top-notch. If you have any questions or want advice, you can ask any of the guys working there, and they’ll tell you things you didn’t even think about things you might need for your bike or changes you could make to improve it. They also have a decent selection of bicycles, ranging from used to new. Whether you’re looking for a beach cruiser, a hybrid bike, or a road bike such as a hardtail, they have it here. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in the near future to get work done on my bike. This place is also the closest shop to my work, and there’s a bike lane going along Reseda Boulevard running from Victory in Reseda, California up to Lassen in Northridge, California, which is pretty much the route I’d take anyway if I were riding on Reseda Boulevard.
See you guys next time my bike needs fixing.”
“Fantastic shop, accommodated me after multiple local shops refused the fix. Quick turn around, fair price and a friendly atmosphere. I was described everything that was done at my request, and learned a bit in the process. 5 genuine stars.”
“These guys are great! Helped me in a pinch when I needed a Co2 cartridge and also let me use their floor pump. Only bike shop around that part of Hollywood open on a Saturday at 9am. Cheers!”
“Found this shop tucked away on Laurel Canyon Blvd. after trying at least 4 others in the area. I was extremely pleased at the competence, service, pricing and turnaround time.Primary bike: riding occasionally 2 years after 3 years of not much use. Needed a check-up; had been told the chain needed replacing. Chain was OK, did maintenance, explained everything. Detailed the bike and it looks like new!Back-up bike: with this success, I took my back-up bike in for the same treatment. Derailer, chain, tires, tubes - yes, way more expensive. To be fair, all this was deferred maintenance, probably for 8 years. Everything was needed. Also cleaned & detailed - even my back-up bike looks like new. And I feel confident in riding it, or loaning to a friend. The store has great-looking merchandise, nicely displayed.I find the poor reviews puzzling. On all my visits, I observed staff waiting on other customers. Courteous, professional, helping them get what they needed. I've already passed the word to two neighbors. They had the same experience & have shared w others.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A rare gem of a bike shop—Atomic Cycles and Paul are the real deal.
If you’re lucky enough to stumble across Atomic Cycles in North Hollywood, you’ve found something special—an old-school, no-frills, soul-of-cycling kind of place. This isn’t some sleek boutique with overpriced parts and cookie-cutter service. This is Paul’s shop—a one-man operation, part museum, part workshop, part time machine—and entirely awesome.
I recently pulled two bikes out of storage after 25+ years of collecting dust. One was a cruiser-style 21-speed, the other my old Klein Stage Comp road bike from my triathlon days. My son is just getting into cycling, so I wanted to see if they could be resurrected. Enter Paul.
From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with nostalgia—cluttered racks, retro parts, classic bikes stacked everywhere, and zero e-bikes (don’t even mention them—Paul will make his feelings known! ?). Then you meet Paul himself: a lean, strong, greying guy in his 50s with oil-stained hands, a frayed shirt, and the calm intensity of a mad scientist-mechanic who knows his craft inside and out.
He’s not there to upsell you or push gimmicks. Paul is a caretaker of bicycles. He brought both my bikes back to life for a price that was literally a fraction of what the big box bike shops wanted to charge. And his work? Impeccable. No BS. Just honest, high-skill labor from someone who clearly lives and loves the cycling life.
If you want e-bike talk and shiny sales floors, go elsewhere. If you want someone who treats your bike like it’s a piece of living history and will get it running better than ever—go see Paul.
This place is more than a bike shop—it’s a living piece of cycling culture. I’m grateful I found it.”
