Jon's market is always extremely clean and affordable. The meat section is my favorite part. There's always deals going on so I love coming in for my veggies and fruits.

The Jons on Sepulveda and Sherman Way. They sell vegan Boca burgers in their freezer section. The freshly made bread is delicious. They have dark chocolate that I love. The produce is always fresh. Sometimes they have a great markdown on Don Francisco coffee. The store is always clean. They have beautiful plants for sale at the front of the store. Thank you for being my Jons store!

My wife and I came to Jon's market in Van Nuys, California at 7134 Sepulveda Blvd to pick up a few items and go home and have lunch. There were a few self-checkout machines open, and my wife and I went to one to scan items, pay and leave. We noticed there were no plastic bags for our items and so my wife asked the attendant for a couple of bags. I scanned the items we had and set them on the right-hand side waiting for my wife to get a couple of bags. The next thing I knew, the store manager was standing at the front door with some other store personnel, and they were staring at me as if I was stealing the Hope Diamond. I turned around to look at them as I put the items in the bags and realized they must have thought I was trying to steal, and stealing is not in my consciousness and never has been. It was quite the experience to see someone automatically assume that I must be stealing something because they didn't see something and makes an automatic assumption in a negative way. The whole incident made me feel dirty because of the negativity of untrained personnel from the store manager to the person that areas are monitoring that area. It was a disappointing experience, taking into consideration the lack of leadership as an example set of how to manage a situation. It reminded me of shopping while black because I have never stolen anything in my life, and I work in law right down the street next to the Van Nuys police station and the Van Nuys superior and federal courts. So, I'm not interested in shopping at that store any longer if their management has no better training than to make negative assumptions when they are 100% incorrect. Also, the people that were at the other stations, were nonblack, Hispanic, and Caucasian and none of them was being watched and monitored as I was once, I stepped up to check out. All I had was sandwich items, pastrami, lettuce, tomato, a French baguette, and some roses for my wife so the whole bill came to $40 or something like that, and I was monitored like I was breaking into a jewelry store in Beverly Hills. Absolutely amazing.

It seems Jons has gotten rid of grocery baggers at this location. If you are eco-conscious and bring your own bags, the checker refuses to bag anything unless you purchase a bag, which probably started during COVID and they left the policy. This makes the lines longer and slower. Do better Jons!

I don't like this particular Jon's store. Sometimes I see moldy cheese, expired dairy products. I don't think it's ok

I tried this store sometime last year for the first time and i was not impressed. Fresh bread and bakeries are good here. That will be the only good i think come out of these markets. We have a few of them in Orange County where i live. Meats are out of date it seems with a funny taste to them. Parking area is scary, Make sure you lock your car up and leave no valuebles inside. Place is clean. Customer service kind of sucks. Dont think i will ever stop at any of these kind of stores again. Im happy spending my extra money for the best.

I came in here today for a Kombucha drink to accompany my lunch. As soon as I walked in, it felt like I was fighting for my life. People that shop here are so rude and acted like I wasn't even there practically ready to bump/run into me as I'm willingly and mindfully trying to avoid/stay out of people's way. So uncomfortable being in here as a young alternative female. Maybe I'm the type of person they don't typically get in this store and felt threatened or bothered in some way. Don't know. Either way. Won't be going back. Old, rude people everywhere.

Poor customer service & intense racial profiling ! Me and a friend went to get some quick groceries in the middle of the night. We left empty-handed when they didn't have the item we came for. We were literally followed out the store by the RACIST , AGGRESSIVE, MEXICAN SECURITY GUARD! Had nothing in our hands, was in the store less than 10 minutes, because they didn't carry the item. I called to speak with the Manager and he agreed the behavior was offensive and unprofessional! I told him I'd continue to complain even speaking with his direct boss! This trash security guard should BE FIRED! That's not how you deal with shoppers SPENDING HARD EARNED MONEY!It's 2022 and NO ONE SHOULD BE PROFILED over some damn produce !!!!!! Sorry ass weirdo! That dead-end job is not EVER that serious ! Pendejo!

Jon's Marketplace continue to sell lots of Russian products, such as buckwheat, honey, canned fish etc. By selling Russian products, you are supporting fascist Putin's regime and the economy! Millions of Ukrainian people suffering these days! You have no moral rights to help Russian economy! STOP SUPPORTING FASCIST REGIME!

I come in to shop with a family member and as soon as we enter into the front door ; Their Security is walking are way now kinda thought okay a lil weird. So we go in the front of store to look at sale price on alcohol . The security kinda watch from behind. So we walk to roll 5# in store to more choices of drinks my family says hey I have to use restroom I'll be back. So I pick something. Now when looking up I see the security guard stand at the front of the roll5# just stairing at me & my family ,I look up to see if my family left the roll 5# we was in to pick drinks out & he had just turned the corner to bathroom in the back . I look to the front of the ale and the security guard still standing their looking at me and my family. I ask how can I help you? Is there a problem? He says no I'm just looking at the store at everybody I've been said why are you only looking at us and we only been here less than 5 minutes he said I'm looking at everyone so I ignore him. I see him leave column five and go to the back of the store. So I grabbed my drinks and I proceed to walk towards the back of the store, where my family was and the restroom. Before I can even get there to the column where the restroom is the security guard is already standing in the column of the restroom which was the fruits and vegetables are way in the back. He's just sitting there watching someone. To my knowledge as I go there to the back I see that he's watching my family member go to the restroom this is discrimination this is harassment. If your job is to watch the whole story why only watch two people. Whom just answered the store less than 5 minutes. This security guard kept harassing us following us throughout the store and he single-handedly picked us out which is discrimination. Now I don't believe they have a policy about discrimination or harassment but if you're going to have a security guard that does not know the policy of the store he shouldn't be working for them. This made us feel very very uncomfortable. Then after I get down there waiting for my family member to come out of the restroom I leave the bottle on top of the rest of the items that was in this cubby bin maybe that had beans or something in there it was sitting on top. So if you can look down the aisle and see the bottle on top why would you still look at me and harass me follow me make a scene. I then see the same security guard look down the row again this time only to stare at me. I look up he's still staring at me I asked him que ,que paso.; Que Quieres, what happen, can I help you is their a problem. He's yelling at me from across the other end I was at the end of the row he was at the beginning or the row and he's yelling down the row to me. So I said what happen how can I help you because he was just standing there looking at me and my family I was waiting for in the restroom. I didn't go in the restroom and I stayed a nice distance as well. I've been seen the assistant manager rushing to the back to where I was at waiting for my family member close by the restroom. The assistant manager gets there and says oh what are you doing or something or why are you I'm like I'm shopping and I'm actually waiting for a family member to come out of the restroom he's like well my security guard says you're taking alcohol in the bathroom how is that when he's following us around the store harassing us and before I even come down here to the restroom he had already followed my family member to the bathroom so if you're saying I'm still in alcohol why would you follow first my family member to the bathroom rather than me to the bathroom if I have the alcohol and I'm going inside the bathroom. He lied to the assistant manager's face about the customer shopping which was me. If you guys condone or allow employees to discriminate and harass customers while shopping if this is a part of your policy HR will be hearing about it this made us very uncomfortable and I ac

I'm very angry. At the registers, Armenians get preferential treatment, while Americans get disrespect. Fully agree with BM. Sh1tty attitude towards non-armos.

3 out of 4 cold cuts were spoiled. When paid on the invoice was shown 86 items however when counted with supervisor was only 71 items . Supervisor Rima assured me, that they don't go by how many times were sold . And price does not depend on amount of items sold . Is this makes senses ?

Went in to get some drinks and snacks and the there's was only 1 register open. There was a line of 10 people and the lady in front of me asked if they could open another register? A man with a an attitude walked up to the line of people and said to calm down and wait in line. When I got to the the cashier to pay for my stuff. I asked what the name of that man was and the cashier said it was "Marco". Last time I shop in this store. Great customer service Marco.
