A wonderful experience for my children and I. The Director and teachers are all warm and open to communication. It feels safe, friendly, educational and my kids still ask to go back. The summer program was full of fun activities and we still have some keepsake crafts from that summer. Love this school and highly recommend it!

All three of our kids attended COV and our third left last year -- I couldn't have asked for a better preschool experience for them. It's an extremely nurturing environment. Play-based but structured, with a wide variety of activities offered for the kids. Beautiful secluded campus with a very large outdoor area, vegetable garden, play structure, stage, large sandbox, fruit trees and plenty of grass and shade. For a small school, they're very well resourced and offer a lot of enrichment -- spanish classes, cooking classes etc. The class sizes are small and teachers get to know the kids on a deep level. Most of the teachers have been there for years, and they're amazing. The school feels like a little family. Nancy the director is incredible -- so competent, and loves the kids so much. I truly can't recommend it enough. My only complaint is that they only offer preschool -- I wish my kids could've continued on!

This school is such a special place. Our son went here from 3-5 and blossomed during that time from a “pandemic baby” to a vibrant, self confident, social butterfly. The staff and director are all so aligned and in sync, you never feel like anyone is off page. Perfect size groups with a ton of attention and love for each kiddo. And the indoor and outdoor spaces are so charming and idyllic (it’s like a scene out of Sesame Street). Our daughter is currently in toddler and me class on Fridays and I can see the same progress with her. Can’t wait for her to start preschool Ihere next year. We love you COV!

We just love COV Preschool and would recommend it to anyone looking for a team that truly cares about your kids. It has a beautiful playground and is a gem in Van Nuys. We’re looking forward to joining COV again in a year when our youngest is ready for preschool.

Church of the Valley Preschool is a true gem. It’s a wonderfully nurturing environment where children flourish for exactly who they are. I couldn’t recommend this school more highly!

We have been lucky enough to have two children graduate from COV. I can’t say enough good things about this school. It is a truly magical place with incredible teachers and Nancy is the greatest school director, principal and friend. This place became a second home for our kids and we still stop by to say hi.
If you’re looking at preschools, this one is worth checking out.

COV is amazing! My son fell in love with this school from the word “go!” I love the diversity, the teachers are great, they truly care about each and every one of their students. The entire staff is AMAZING!!! It’s like family there. Sadly, this will be my son’s last school year there, and I’m dreading the day we have to tell him that he will be attending a new school 😞 do not hesitate when you are searching for the perfect preschool, COV is it.

Two thumbs way up in the sky for this school! I sent all three of my children here and it was a wonderful, warm, and cheerful place for kids to be kids. They have tons of activities, rotating toys, guests, community events... I loved everything about it and the director is patient and truly caring about each and every child. It's sweet with a different rhythm, where the learning is almost entirely play-based and focused on social/emotional learning. I highly recommend it to anyone looking and it is a great price for what it offers as well. Give it a tour and meet the current director, Nancy. She's a gem.

I have toured and considered a *LOT* of preschools in the area. They all did not feel 100 percent comfortable until we saw COV. It's such a wonderful little community, where everybody knows your kids name and smiles and waves. The kids here are the sweetest and the teachers are focused on emotional development. Our son has blossomed into a confident, smart, and secure child. The environment is incredibly loving and warm.

We love COV! We sent our son here for three years and had a wonderful experience. The teachers were kind, caring, and communicative. The community is warm and inclusive. My son thrived there. We were hesitant about sending our toddler this spring, but once we saw how safe the protocols are and how careful everyone is being, we decided to do it. It was a good decision for us, my daughter is also thriving at COV.

Church of the Valley Preschool is awesome! Our oldest boy just graduated from here and we have our 2nd boy moving up to Blue door.I know finding a perfect Pre-school is super challenging. We looked at bunch of different pre-schools in whole lot of different range from super academic to super developmental. Each schools have pluses and minuses but it's really hard to find a place that feels "just right" for your child. For us Church of The Valley felt Perfect and it still does three years later.Barbara, the Director of the school, is very warm, kind, smart and runs the school with very clear vision. The whole place is very well thought out and you can just feel that your child will be well taken care of.We love our teachers at every grade level. They are all amazingly patient, caring and really pays attention to each and every child.They also have a very spacious yard that are shaded! This is very important & somewhat hard to find in Pre-school in the Valley. Kids can play outside even in hot sunny days! And our boys NEED to play outside everyday....
