I live 20-25 away and needed to cash my check from a previous employer from the OC. The gentleman behind the counter took my info, made me wait 5 mins just to tell me that they didn't cash checks that weren't from San Fernando Valley. Why did you need 5 mins to do that with my info? Although they do cash checks here, if you need to absolutely do so, make sure it's at least from San Fernando, California. At least tell people this in some form of advertising prior.

Please give this place a chance. Absolutely amazing workers and by far the best customer service I have received. I have a lot of residual checks that come in and ever since I've came to Louie's, I refuse to go anywhere else. Thank you guys again for your amazing customer service!! Five Stars!

My first time in this check cashing place and I was very impressed. The staff there was very friendly and speedy with their services. They are also open late which is nice because it’s later than my bank’s closing time. Thanks for the quick and easy service

Ok I had written out a person check here for my cleaning lady who cleans after my jobs after the work is performed. I have cashed about 2 or 3 person checks here that customers had written out to me for work I have done ( what’s the difference? ) Absolutely nothing! I contacted the owner and he absolutely could not give me an explanation on to why they have before and why they won’t now!! Its perfectly legal. If they had no signs saying that they don’t I would of not wasted my time nor gas to go simply have my cleaning lady waste her time depending on this PICK and choose who THEy decide they want to cash a check for I also bring my business here as well. You best believe I will let all my friends and family know not to shop here anymore! Plus I will be connecting the better business website to put in a complaint on this business first thing in the morning !!!!

To anyone who desires to cash a person check here which I have few times ( and I records I have) I had written out a check to my cleaning lady who cleans jobs for my customers. I had referred her to Louie's liquor today to cash a person check for her work she has done for me and they basically lied to her face and me saying they don't cash person checks. Now to anyone going to cash a person check here! Do your self a favor and don't go here! They have no signs saying they don't cash personally checks here. To me it's a pick and choose who they decide they want to cash a check for! It's totally legal to cash a personal check!! I will contact my lawyer to see what options I have for discrimination! I called the owner and he could not offer me an explanation onto why they did cash 2 or 3 person checks of customers who written out checks for me for plumbing work I have done for them. Don't waste your time going here or gas! I will let all my friends and family know don't shop at this establishment nor even attempt to cash any checks here! It's unfortunate and totally a pick and choose for them!
