Pep Boys is always reliable and honest when it comes to servicing my repair and maintenance needs. The only disappoint I had is them eliminating their senior citizen discount.

Marta, an employee here, has made sure I will absolutely never return to this store again, nor will I use Pep Boys for any repairs in the future. I had a perfectly acceptable repair here, but I never received an email receipt. When I required that receipt later for insurance purposes, she repeatedly lied to me, saying she would call me later and provide it for me, only to never call me back. I called the store multiple times and she refused to help me every single one of them, while assuring me that she was just busy and would soon call me back. It was unimaginably terrible customer service, for which she displayed no remorse or desire to help. I advise anyone who wishes to have a decent experience to avoid this store at all costs.

Rim Damaged, Botched Alignment & Zero Accountability
I came in to replace my tires, and the nightmare started right away. The tech began by ripping off the old wheel weights using a sharp metal tool, not the proper method — and completely scraped the rim down to bare metal.
Then he did an alignment (which I hadn’t even come for originally) — and did it horribly wrong. He ignored the rear wheels, which clearly needed adjustment, and set the front wheels crooked, so the steering wheel was turned to the right when driving straight.
When I asked for a fix, the manager told me “The boss isn’t here, go home and call for another appointment.” I said I wasn’t going to drive home on a car with a bad alignment. She replied, “You can wait, but I don’t know when he’ll be free.”
So I waited three hours. When the boss finally came, he test drove the car and immediately said the alignment was done badly. He had the tech redo it two more times, and it was still wrong. Only after the boss personally did the alignment was it finally fixed.
As for the rim damage? He admitted it was done improperly and casually offered to cover it up with a black marker. Then they offered me a free oil change as compensation — which I declined, because after all this, I don’t trust their techs anywhere near my engine.
They wasted my entire day, damaged my rim, and showed zero professionalism. Avoid this place at all costs
