I had a really terrible experience with this place. They are pretty unprofessional, no transparency when it comes to pricing and when it came time to get my dogs surgery I got an email the night before saying they had no doctor that day. When we finally got an appointment after months of calling they turned my dog away saying she was underweight. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to take your pet.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Because they did an amazing job when my cat got neutered, And so caring. It's pricey, but totally worth it.

I've gone through them twice for surgeries for my dog and cat and have had great experiences from customer to patient care. If you're in need of affordable and quality veterinary care, I highly recommend them.

Kind and caring staff. The main office manager was very helpful and attentive to the needs of my dog. Whole staff is very friendly and I have no doubt the care of my pup was in good hands with Dr. Zanetti, DVM.

Took about a month to get an appointment but finally was able to get my kitten spayed. Problem I had is getting correct information on Certificate. Other than that I'm greatful to of had my kitten spayed.

Taking my cat here for neuter surgery. Everyone here is friendly and very gentle to our pet. I can tell that they love their job. Highly recommend

My family business provided service and repair to this establishment for 20 years. There was trust, loyality, and firm communication throughout the years until new management arose. During the transition to a new manager, there was an outstanding invoice of ~$2000 that the new manager refused to pay us. It is truly disheartening to not be paid for your hard work, labor, and expensive inventory given. Two decades of a loyal relationship is tarnished due to the new manager of Pet Orphans. Very upsetting that we had to pay for this establishment's reparations out of our pockets. Please take your business elsewhere.

Excellent place for pets. affordable, good help if a regular vet is a bit out of your range and you want your pet healthy or spay/neutered.They accept LA City voucher for spay/neuter surgery. There is a mandatory checkup fee, and some option can be added at cost (microchip, flea, etc...but not over price)Staff is very nice and provide clear info.For surgery, you have to place a request online, most of the exchange is done online and by mail. Very clear and easy to go through.I really recommend them if you are a pet lover like me but have a tight budget to keep your pet healthy.

Very frustrated with this business. Took my dog in for a spay and when she was returned we thought everything was normal. 2.5 months later her scar keeps reopening and getting infected. Her scar has large bumps around it which is scar tissue. We have done everything we can to keep her movement low to support healing. Due to this spay we have had to schedule 3 additional vet appointments at another clinic which has costed additional hundreds of dollars. I'm very frustrated I trusted this place to take care of my dog and now she is still suffering the consequences.Also when we took her to another vet, the staff referred to her spay surgery as a "hack job"....this has been painful for our dog and our family knowing she was treated this way
