She pulled the particular dress I came to see as well as a few others with similarities and that were in my price range. Desiree was so professional, well-informed on the various dresses in the shop, and honestly was a delight to work with. It is so beautiful and well designed! The selection of vintage designer dresses is like nothing I have ever seen, even in LA - and I have worked in some high end vintage places. The quality is beyond incredible and the owner happened to be there and talking to her and going through the pieces with her was such a treat! “I’ve been going to this store for years! The owner Kathleen and her staff are so friendly and inviting. I understand that there may be times where everyone is busy dealing with a customer and may not be able to greet or assist immediately, if you you stick around, you usually can have your custom costume for your event be pieced by piece in their wonderful and electic shop.They don’t sell prepackaged costumes. They sell collectible vintage and costumes ranging from used studio wardrobe to home made costumes made with love and the special touch.Halloween is super busy in there, so sometimes I see seasonal staff such as the man at the checkout stand to help fill in the gaps since there are few costume specialists on hand.It’s a family owned buisness. I’ve always felt welcomed to share my costuming ideas as well as share my personal life with them. As an Asian person of color and as well as a gay guy, I feel pretty comfortable in the shop. Kathleen is so warm and genuinely welcoming, I think I’ve spent half a day in their several times just catching up with her. She’s so lovely if you get a chance to have her assist you.I’ve never left the store empty handed. And I always leave with a smile.I had to count my change twice today because I realized her prices were so good that I saved a lot of money by making Junk For Joy my first stop!”

“This has fast become my most favorite online shop! Toadstool provided me with excellent customer service and went so far above and beyond to answer all of my questions in my crazy amount of emails, I feel as though I have gained a friend. The product descriptions are so much fun to read, they show a knowledge on the vintage items and what you can look forward to in your purchase. The website is user friendly making the buying process super nice. My items were shipped so quickly that I received them within a week. Now onto my rave reviews for the product I received. I purchased 3 items from Toadstool Farm, one was a vintage monogrammed hankie, the second a vintage stainless steel tie clip and lastly a beautiful 1960's Jacquie O style dress. The hankie was white, clean and lovely, exactly what I expected from the photos. The tie clip was also very nice and in pristine condition, it was smaller than I had anticipated but I never thought to ask for measurements. And last but certainly not least the absolutely stunning dress! I had looked high and low for a genuine classic style 60's dress for my son's upcoming wedding. It became clear early in my search that finding what I hoped for, in my larger size, was going to be very difficult. And keeping within a budget of under $200 was becoming near impossible. Then I found Toadstool Farm and she saved the day! There are no words for this dress except that I am in love! It is exactly as she described and the photos, although as fantastic as they are, just do not do this dress justice! It is clean, the color vibrant and in such amazing condition. This is clearly a dress made with pride by a skilled seamstress. The packaging of my items was so sweet and the little extra touches shows just how much love goes into each sale at Toadstool Farm. There really are not enough good things to say about my experience. Thank you, thank you so much!”

“I cant believe that Ive been coming to this store for like 7 years and it FINALLY DAWNED ON ME TO WRITE A REVIEW??! This store is soooo elegant and FULL of splendor and amazing curated vintage and modern pieces. It reminds me of a high end box of chocolates where the box and wrapping and ribbon is so elegant that you feel guilty for eating the candy lol. This place is my guilty pleasure. The decadence comes from the decor and selection but the sweetness comes from the staff. Its a small staff but they work hard to help you find what you are looking for and what you didnt even know you needed in your wardrobe! lol. The owners Marie and Ian are very kind and down to earth and have treated me so well all these years. I am truly grateful to them for helping my little collection of awesome vintage grow. All vintage for way less than I could've gotten online or other local boutiques. Her taste is impeccable, as is her service. “I have been here several times and have made a purchase every time. They always have something new to look at. Both old and new pieces. There are so many cute glasses, pottery, candles, vases etc... I purchased four small Wallace bowls that I loved. Perfect for dips, olives, oils .... Great addition to my collection. Prices vary depend on what you are getting. You can easily find great deals here and also high priced items. You gotta do your research. Customer service is usually good here.”

“This place is a gem. I popped in here because I did a vintage photo shoot and needed some appropriate garb. Not only did I find some amazing options, but the ladies that run this place are sweet as can be. They have a real eye for fashion and are quick to help you find the right thing for you. As you can see, I ended up with a fantastic blue housecoat which I adore. Prices are reasonable.”

“My two teenage grandson loved this place. So much so they wanted to go back. We went back Monday morning. The website said they open at 11, the sign on the door said they opened at 11. But it was 11:15 and they weren’t open. We went across the street and got something to eat while we waited but they still weren’t open at noon. I called the other locations that also said they opened at 11 but none answered their phones. My guess is they aren’t open on Mondays and they need to update their website and sign in the door. Other than that we will most definitely go again.”

We were referred by a friend of ours, and so to our delight, had a wonderful time looking through the vintage treasures. This is not your typical vintage clothing store. “This place is pretty much everything you grew up with plus 40 years of what your grandparents had before you were born. We left with a vintage wizard hat and a Skotch Kooler and I can't wait to go back and get one of the old Coleman lanterns. Last visit I scored the old Burger King Return of the Jedi glasses. Owners are super nice and you can tell they love having the shop. This place will take you back in time.”

“Five stars for truly phenomenal customer service. I came in with an improbably difficult set of criteria for a Best Man gown (plus, the wedding's in November - yikes!) and general manager Ryan immediately set himself to the challenge. He clearly knew the their catalogue and managed my expectations accordingly as we toured the vintage floor together. Side note: Decades is exceedingly well-curated; it's eclectic and exciting luxury with a twist of history, and it's just plain *fun* to shop such an intentional collection. When it became apparent that my needs + means weren't among their stock, Ryan took the considerable effort to track down some other potentials for my, again, ridiculously specific quest. I cannot stress enough how much he did not have to do this, and how much he helped reinvigorate the search efforts. I lucked out by wandering in at a slow moment in the day, I'm sure, but the real luck was meeting such a consummate professional and all-around rad GM like Ryan. Can't recommend Decades enough!”
