We have taken our dogs here for 30 years. Dr. Nolasco is very attentive to dogs' needs and has a very skillful set of hands for surgery. He has helped extend one of my dog's lives, and today, she's 18 1/2 years old and still going strong.

Good and efficient staff. It wasn't an easy day for me. I had to let one of my foster cats go.She spent one night there because the doctor wanted to see how she responded to treatment. The doctor called early the next morning. Her response wasn't well enough. After speaking with the doctor for a few minutes, the decision was made to let her go.

I think this is one of the best hospitals for the price. I have been a customer of theirs since 1987, so it must be good for me to use them for 36 years.

Very reasonable prices. I've been coming here for years. I recently got my cat spayed and they took good care of her

I have been going to Valley Animal Hospital for years...when it was owned by another Veterinarian and now Dr. Javier Nolasco. My kitty Willow has many health problems and he receives very good care there. Office Manager, Diane is very knowledgeable, accommodating, pleasant and easy speak with... as well as the other staff members.

How can VAH improve? Be kinder, don't be rude to the clients. And Don't price gouge Dr. Javier Nolasco DVM (the last doc standing) needs to get some bedside manners and compassion and patience. Reception could be warmer and empathetic as well (read the google reviews if you don't believe me), I saw a woman crying today IN PAIN 10/10 due to her fur baby, and receptionist BreAnna and Lety didn't even offer her a tissue let alone comfort. THE WORST!!! The one doctor they have now was soooooooooo rude to me yesterday 10/9, among other things (Dr. Javier Nolasco I am talking about you) he is the only doc available (And I here he owns the place now!), met with Diane Matthews (the Manager of the facility who was a dream)...even after coming back to voice my complaints he still never apologized and STILL treated me as if I was an irritation (cuz he had other clients waiting more important I guess) HE NEVER APOLOGIZED!!!! I've worked in customer service and customer care for over 30 years. I manage 6 bldgs that accept residents with pets.... Do you think I am going to recommend or refer VAH? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! My pet is like my child!! MY FUR BABY!!! And there is absolutely no trust. He was even dismissive on the day I came back to speak with Diane the facility manager. God bless her! VAH you are NOT the only option. BUYER BEWARE. Always check the rating. Prayers out to the pet owner that the review stated they misdiagnosed a tumor and died. Good thing my sister was witness the care and observed how we were not even given the medication that we should have for my pup. GOOD RIDDANCE, Banfield Pet Hospital here I come!!!! I guess my 14yrs at this facility has come to an end!

You schedule an appointment and the doctor doesn't see your dog until an hour after you've arrived, very unprofessional, front desk service is terrible. They have no love for your pet. They always try over charging you for something you never asked for. All they care about is money here, they could care less about your pet!

While the initial visit is affordable ($65), you’ll be losing money when it comes to the unnecessarily overpriced medicine. I came in concerned that my dog had a stroke, and I was interrupted several times while trying to ask questions about it. While the Dr. was attentive and patient over the phone when I had follow up questions, the crassness and extreme confusion over diagnosis and medicine I experienced in office by the Dr. and his assistant would make me 100% NOT recommend this establishment. I felt ripped off, especially when other vets I called gave me recommendations where to buy more affordable medicine while this place left me in the dark!

We brought my dog here a couple of days ago and the service was horrible. A Hispanic man in his 40- mid 50s had the worst attitude. I had asked a question about a medicine that was being prescribed to my dog and he said “ didn’t the doctor explain this all to you??” with a look of disappointment. It doesn’t seem like they care for your loved ones here so I please recommend you save your time and take your pets somewhere, where you know they’ll be loved.

This establishment is the worst veterinarian I have ever been too. Not only are the prices are outrageous, the staff and vet are rude and very dismissive to their patients. I brought my dog in because he had a small ball one of his back legs, we thought it was tumor so we wanted to come get it checked. The tumor was small and we wanted to get ahead of it. The vet took a look at it, took some x-rays, and took a sample of the tumor and charged us $2,000. Keep in mind, this was just for the DIAGNOSIS, they had not done any real work on my pet yet. I wanted to have this tumor removed but they said the tests proved that the tumor was benign and they would not remove it. We asked if we could have it removed anyways because we wanted to be safe, they said it was not necessary and they gave us medication to ensure us that the tumor would not get any bigger. When I questioned the vet's decision he got angry and dismissed our concerns. We decide to just listen to the vet and give our dog the medication, and hope that it works. About three weeks go by and the medication does not work and the tumor becomes bigger. We decide that it is time to go to another vet. We wanted a copy of his diagnosis and x-rays from Valley Animal Hospital and they refused and TOOK forever to send them to us. The staff was very rude about providing this for us. Finally after we got his x-rays, the new vet informed us that we should have removed the tumor as soon as we could have. I informed him that Valley Animal Hospital said it was not necessary. The vet told me that Valley Animal Hospitals diagnosis was not correct. The new vet removed the tumor for us and did his best, but he said it was too far along that the tumor was too attached to his leg now. He informed us that the tumor was not benign like Valley Animal Hospital told us. It was in fact harming him. Once we had the tumor removed, he was doing better for a couple of weeks and then had a seizure one night. The tumor was too far along and had impacted our pet. I blame Valley Animal Hospital for his death, they were negligent in their first diagnosis and DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE PETS THEY SERVE. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MAKING PROFIT. Please think twice about taking your pets here.

I've been told not to go to this hospital in the past, but it was years ago... Slipped my mind.. End of last year, I was in panic mode as one of my cats was in my arms dying. I let the crappy attitudes of the receptionist go since I was devastated about my cat. We were seen by Dr. Torres and let me just say this man is AMAZING!!!!! He was very patient with me and my family. He took his time and was gentle with my sweet little GiGi. During this visit he suggested I bring my other cat Jack in for a check up... 6 months later... I did.... STILL with the crappy attitudes from the chicks in the front, then had a call from a "Doctor"... DEFINITELY wasn't Dr. Torres, very sarcastic and quick to dismiss as if he was annoyed to give me the test results for my cat. My cats $400 bill was paid in full... why can't I just simply get my $400 worth of test results???... without you being annoyed at what MY answering machine says???? As much as I appreciated the comfortability, honesty, and amazing bed side manners of Dr.Torres, I can't allow myself to ever go back to that filthy litter box they call an "animal hospital."
