The Valley Relics Museum is a non-profit organization that showcases a vast collection of historical artifacts from the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas. The museum's exhibits feature rare documents, photographs, vintage neon signs, postcards, yearbooks, negatives, clothing, books, art, automobiles, and bicycles that capture the region's past. Visitors describe the museum as a "love letter to San Fernando Valley nostalgia," filled with neon signs, retro arcade machines, and quirky pop culture items. The enthusiastic staff are passionate about preserving the area's history and enjoy sharing stories behind the exhibits. While the museum can get quite warm without air conditioning, it offers a unique and immersive experience, with opportunities to play on vintage arcade cabinets and explore a diverse collection of Hollywood memorabilia, Coke, McDonald's, and Bob's Big Boy items. The museum also hosts a monthly flea market where visitors can browse and purchase retro memorabilia, vintage signs, and 80s Los Angeles kitsch from knowledgeable vendors. Overall, the Valley Relics Museum provides a nostalgic and engaging glimpse into the rich history of the San Fernando Valley.
This is such an important preservation of the San Fernando Valley and adjoining areas. This amazing history would undoubtedly be lost forever if not for this museum. I highly recommend if you are yearning to replay great memories in your mind and heart. Great job guys!
