Not much stays open here for very late. They do close at 6 on Sunday’s, seven or eight most days. Some of the employees are awesome, others are terrible. I was literally yelled at by a younger male employee and younger female one day for still being in the store at 8:00 when I was trying to purchase fuel. Other than those two treating me like a child, this place is ok. The self checkouts error out a lot, so you’re better off standing in line to checkout with the clerk.

Smaller than most express gas stations I'm used to, but still not bad, the pumps have enough space to navigate between, there's enough parking, and they have plenty of items for fast and easy convenience to allow you to eat on the go. Many different selections of coffee and ice cream.

Would like to have hot coffee, no matter what time of day they are open, I would like to see more napkins except for just one dispenser on the wall, I would like to see an empty garbage can when I go in there, I would like to ask a question to an associate and then know exactly where the items are located.

This gas station has been pretty consistently one the worst in recent memory on a DoD installation that I’ve frequently used. Now it’s down for repairs the last several months, so no gas and even worse hours than before on a installation with 24/7 ops, but before that it was always a crapshoot if the air pump worked, they had windshield washing fluid and a functional squeegee. In-store selection is pretty meager and it’s not as if the Class Six makes up for it as a better option, which also has even worse hours normally. Prices really weren’t all that competitive to the local area and the hours suck— pretty much all the hours for everything on Vandenberg sucks. In the last 24 years that I have been on military installations all around CONUS and OCONUS, they all have collectively been going downhill as far as competitive pricing and definitely terrible hours, especially at the most remote locations. It’s really fun paying more for things and getting less back than you used to.
Honestly based on the downtime, this gas station has had, a new one could’ve been built elsewhere on the base faster than it’s taken to fix the gas pumps on this one. But I guess I’ll just spend 30 minutes of my life once a week driving off base just to get gas while I’m here.

The store now opens at 8 which is hugely inconvenient since I have to work 0730. Prior to March 11th they opened at 7. Why the change? Now I have to go to work without snacks and water….

On 19 Jul at 0650, I gassed up. While filling up, I proceeded to clean the windshield. There was very little cleaning water and it stank very bad. I checked 6 other squeegee holders all were the same.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Great selection of alcohol and always getting new cycles of stuff to try. They can also order kegs or try to get special request in.
