Terrible customer service. Being a past customer of Aesop Studio City I was always greeted, given samples, recommended different products but absolutely radio silence from these employees. Will not be returning and probably won’t shop at Aesop again.

The store itself is beautiful and well-designed, but unfortunately the staff member we encountered was quite rude and dismissive. We came in genuinely interested in making some purchases, but the poor service left such a bad impression that we ended up going to a different location instead. It’s a shame because the products and store layout are lovely, but customer service really matters.

Absolutely would recommend this store over the Montana store. The sales associates are incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. Great customer service and overall excellent products.

This store is pretty and I appreciated being able to try the items before I purchased. The two girls working were beyond helpful. Really knowledgeable and friendly. I also appreciated the samples of other products they included with my purchase and the cup of tea they offered.

I wish I could afford to buy everything Aesop carries!! Their products are high quality, made with some of the finest ingredients you can find on Earth, and they just ooze coolness with how much they know about skincare.Their staff members are super knowledgeable and more than willing to take time for you to explore which products are best for you. They were super nice to offer trying the face washes and anything else I was interested in. There’s an in-store sink by the window that makes for the perfect place to sample products. If you don’t have a skin care regime yet, come here to get one!! Get yourself a toner, face wash and serum to start. Or if you’re there to uplift your shower routine, they’ve got purposefully crafted body cleansers, shampoos and conditioners.Their whole shop smells amazing. Located right along trendy Abbot Kinney. You can find parking in the neighborhoods nearby, or along Venice blvd.I forget the name of the nice gentleman who was helping me out but I wanted to give him a tip because he was so supportive but they don’t accept tips ?

The creepy shop guy with curly brownish hair and yellow teeth was so rude and condescending- I shop Aesop often and brought a friend to promote my favorite products - I’ll never shop at this location and maybe not Aesop if these are the idiots they hire to not help you- come on - it’s a great product - figure it out !!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Today, Aesop lost me as a frequent customer of more than 10years. I visited the store in Abbott Kinney and asked for a sachet of a product. It must have been such an outrageous insolence that the staff member (male, dark curled hair) started to speak to me in a patronizing, condescending, disrespectful and intimidating way as if I am trying to exploit him - he made me feel very very uncomfortable. When I expressed my discomfort he asked me to leave the store. Yes, you read correctly - over a sachet! This man is a representation of the brand Aesop. Who wants to shop a brand that disrespects its customers? Every time I will now enter an Aesop store and consider shopping the brand, I will remember this one man, and how he made me feel. This store and this staff member does not even deserve 1 star.

Good quality but absurdly expensive products. The staff was friendly but I'd like a little more space to shop alone.

Really great service, good quality products. The incense may be a little pricey, $48 for a small box, but it's the highest quality Japanese, and since I have seen outside of Japan. In the bath care products and hand sanitizers are amazing as well. Again, not cheap, but you're not going here for price. You're going here for quality. Expect to pay a premium for premium products.

The Aēsop on Abbot Kinney is the first of what will soon be nearly a dozen Aēsop stores in the L.A. area. I had visited most of them but never the Venice store until today. Service is friendly and helpful, as is the standard with Aēsop (most of the time). The store went through a redesign recently, though, that didn't do it any favors: There's a shower stall in the center of the store, for one thing. I'd heard about the shower stall they were going to add to the Venice store, but either no one seriously planned for it to be put into any real use, or the architect must think L.A. is a city full of casual exhibitionists because there simple metal tube has no area to change, hold clothing, store towels, etc. ― there's no way to maintain any sort of privacy. The store has gone so far as to turn the water off to it, that's what a waste it is. The rest of the design is just white, white, white, plain and boring. It's the worst Aēsop design I've ever seen, honestly. I hope this is not a harbinger of things to come for the new L'Oréal era. For the austere and stupid design that makes me sad, one star removed.

Dropped by to check out their product line. Staff was unfriendly and not very helpful. After meandering about for 5 minutes a staff member came up to us - it was unclear if he was offering assistance. The vibes were definitely off at this location. Wouldn't recommend.

- Gluttony Expedition - Body lotion, hand soap, body wash: decent Shampoo: peculiar smell, but it's ok. Conditioner: TERRIBLE! Avoid at all cost!!!! Don't you ever use your products before you sell this to customers?????? It makes my hairs more dry and tangled by using it. Even the ones at 99 cent store do better effects on your hair. It's so bad and now it disgusts me when I see their products or logo. - Conqueror's Deduction - Proper hotel and hotel June use their products thinking as if they're superior products than others simply due to the $$$$$ price tag. It's not!!!!! Due to the really bad conditioner, it ruins my hotel stay and hairs every time guaranteed. It's almost impossible to encounter such a bad product, but you really pull it off. Your object is to offer the finest quality products. Please improve the conditioner - it really sucks and ruin my hotel stay every time! If you really used the conditioner, you know I'm right on this. Unless it is meant to be used by bold people...
