I have been playing paddle tennis at Venice courts for a long time. Weekdays are better than weekends that is too crowded. I was wondering why the benches were removed…

I usually surf and my husband plays paddle tennis. Venice beach has always good waves, warm water in Summer. Street paddle is pretty good community.

So much fun. A mix of experts and novices (me). It was really great to have somewhere to play when you don’t know what you’re doing that’s free. Need your own paddles and balls.

The Venice Paddle Courts have been there for many years and the Paddle community has grown exponentially. These courts are designed for PADDLE/POP Tennis only. Pickleball players should really avoid these courts. The nets, lines and size of court are not the same.

The Venice paddle courts are the best in CA! Such an amazing community and so much fun learning to play!

The paddle tennis community is incredibly welcoming and excited for new players to join. Be respectful and ask questions. REMINDER: These are not pickle ball courts so be cautious about playing. If you come and it’s busy, I wouldn’t recommend playing pickle. You’ll likely get some rough looks.

Great Paddle Tennis only courts. The community is welcoming to all Paddle tennis players or those who want to learn. As it’s such a unique growing sport the courts are often used.

Best place ever! The Mecca of Pop Tennis.Friendly reminder that the courts are busy and should only be used for Pop Tennis NOT Pickleball during peak hours.Plenty of places to play pickle in LA, very few to play Pop Tennis.

Amazing courts for paddle tennis. Really friendly people at the original home for the sport. A large number of courts (I think 12) that are busy during the morning hours on weekends but open up.The people are really nice and there is a large range of skill sets. Different net size than pickleball and it isn’t allowed here besides a couple courts during certain hours.Go check out this great sport

Between the tennis courts, there is a single metal table with a chess board installed. The black squares have worn away with time, but have been drawn back on with marker. One bench has been removed to accommodate wheelchairs. Great place to play chess and watch the tennis matches.
