Never thought I'd be leaving a review for a Rite Aid but the people working at the pharmacy are just so rude. I had an urgent prescription that I dropped off and the staff was not willing to expedite in any way (which is fine, I understand people are before me) but to be rude about it was not appreciated. I spoke with several people and the tone of voice of each one was just not nice. After 2 hours I called to check on the prescription at which point the representative struggled to pull up the status and then told me it would be another 2 hours! I've simply never had a prescription take this long and never received such attitude around simple questions I was asking. Overall they made a bad day worse and I definitely will not be going here with any pharmacy needs again.

I'm at home with Covid waiting for my prescription to be filled at this Rite Aid. When I call to find out, I'm put on hold for 21 minutes. When I hang up and call back, a guy immediately picks up the phone. When I tell him that I've been on hold for 21 minutes, he could give a flying...you know what. Tells me they're under-staffed and if I don't like it I should "call corporate." Since there is no "corporate" number to call on the website, I decided to write a negative Yelp review. Turns out this business has many!

It's a mixed bag at the Pharmacy and it really depends on who's there. I had previously received two of the COVID vaccinations there and they were great. The pharmacist was kind, efficient and the shot didn't hurt. Today, I went for my second booster - my fourth COVID shot and when I checked in, they talked about how they were adding extra appointments and how annoyed they were about that. This is when Los Angeles is talking about implementing indoor masks again and many people are not getting their second booster shot - only 15% of eligible people are when the numbers for those infected with COVID in Los Angeles are rising. Why they had a need to complain about adding extra appointments so people get their booster shot is beyond me. What else is beyond me is why they had me waiting while I heard them gossiping/complaining about their schedules and their co-workers work schedules. Really? When I told them I can come back instead, they said the pharmacist is getting my vaccine ready. I don't think it takes 15 minutes to get my vaccine ready. It has never before. When he brought me into the room, with my sleeve already up for my right arm sleeve up so he can give me the vaccination and after he put on his gloves, that's when he looked to see that my I wanted to get the shot on my right arm. He said he had to move the chair around so he can give me the vaccination and didn't change his gloves. How sanitary is it for him to move the chair with his gloves on and then use those dirty gloves to pinch my arm to give me the vaccination? Also, I have never had anyone pinch my arm to give me a vaccination. Lastly, it hurt. This is my fourth COVID shot and it has never hurt before when the needle goes in. It's slightly uncomfortable when the vaccine goes in, but not the actual needle. It made me feel like he was punishing me for letting them know that I told them I can come back since it was taking so long - while they were gossiping/complaining about their work schedules.Next time, I will not go to RiteAid to get a vaccination and I suggest others to not as well. The best experience for my COVID vaccination was Costco on Washington and that'a where I would recommend since the pharmacist there was gentle, kind and didn't use dirty gloves to give me a vaccination.

I have always been so impressed by the staff in the pharmacy here but today made me realize they must be severely short staffed and this is scary. I tried for two hours to get through the pharmacy to give details in order to refill a prescription that was urgently needed. I am now on the way to urgent care because what I thought would be a relatively simple task was impossible

Diane, Violeta, and Johnathan where quite literally the sweetest pharmacists i've ever encountered! They helped me find a great deal on my medication that is no longer being covered by my insurance, literally saving me! Never going anywhere else now

Really bad customer service. I came in with an appointment for Covid shot, one person was serving another customer, the other one who was in the back, kept ignoring me waiting in the line. The customer was taking long, so I went the one in the back and said I have an appointment. She still asked me to go have and wait. Finally the customer left, I gave my info to the front person, then waited again for another 20 minute while these two are talking about college and other stuff to the next customer. And totally ignoring me. I finally go and ask " how long more" and she said " she's prepping". Seriously? Prepping what? It's one needle. Then the one who was going back and forth in the back and ignoring me, opens the door with even more attitude. Now she hates me, because I didn't want to wait. She was rude and arrogant. Very unprofessional. No one need this kind of disrespect. I'll never come here again.

Best pharmacy experience I've ever had. When the pharmacist saw that my prescription was over $400 due to my insane insurance deductible, she diligently spent the next 15 minutes researching manufacture discount codes that she could apply in order to get the price down. I ended up getting the exact same prescription for $120. Now that's what you call exceptional service. Overall a very friendly staff... On top of going the extra mile for their customers. Thank you so much.

Was leaving for a trip at 5am the following morning. Made it to the pharmacy 2 minutes before closing and Dale and Hilda came through in the clutch and helped fill the prescription for me. THANK YOU!!!

I'll preface this by saying I shop at various Rite Aid locations, from Long Beach to North Hollywood and anywhere in between all the time. I went to this Rite Aid for a few incidentals last Friday morning around 10:30am. None of the staff I encountered spoke to me. Usually a cashier will welcome customers to the store from behind the register but this didn't happen at my visit. When I was in line to check out and I came to the front of the line, the cashier just stared at me. No greeting, no "I can help the next customer", nothing. After waiting for her to tell me she was ready to help me and not getting any acknowledgment, I walked up and greeted HER. Only then she spoke. "Hello". (the same person that didn't greet me when I came in. Not my experience at any other Rite Aid I've ever been to. Again - I've shopped at various Rite Aids several times a week for years). So when it came time to make my purchases I intended to leave a low rating on the survey at the register and I did. The cashier, from behind the register, reached in front of me, returned to the survey screen and attempted to leave a 5-star rating for herself. THE AUDACITY lol. I don't recall her name but she was deep-skinned, with long braids, several hand tattoos, and wore several rings on her fingers. I returned to the survey screen and left the low score my experience warranted, made my purchases, and left. If I had the time, I would have spoken to a the manager onsite at that moment. I will not shop at that Rite Aid again. Management, please work with your staff on customer service. It's so easy to say 'hello' and be polite to people they come into your store on a slow morning. When I have time, I will write to corporate about this cashier and lack of customer service I experienced at your store. Do better.

Jonathan Saidfar (pharmacy manager) is as incompetent as they come. He injected me with the wrong vaccine. That's right you heard it correctly. Then he had the audacity when confronted to make up some lie about how his system had multiple accounts which I never created. Yet he did not feel the need to address this prior to injecting me? His response was a blank stare. He then changed his story to say my card had said that vaccine so he assumed.....??? yikes! He then tried to convince me mix and matching vaccines is not recommended as if he were my doctor. Maybe if Johnathan and Dale were not so preoccupied with sharing earlier customer service incidents they could avoid causing customer incidents themselves. I mean I even watch customers have to interrupt them repeatedly while in the middle of their transaction just to get a question in about medical items they wanted or were receiving. Be careful for your own health because those two clearly are not looking out for you.

THE WORST pharmacy I've ever dealt with. My doctor called in a prescription. Rite-aid's system was down. Now my doctor's office is closed. The people at Rite Aid were extremely rude to me on the phone while I asked questions. When will their system be up? Because of Rite Aid, I'm now going 3 days without medication. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I can not contact anyone at this pharmacy. I've been trying to call for 2 days. I was on hold for 2 hours. I called the store and talked to a staff member with questions. He said "this is the worst pharmacy I've ever worked for". Whoever the person in charge of this Rite Aid pharmacy should be fired.

0/10 would recommend this pharmacy. After tonight I will be having my doctors transfer my medications anywhere but here. Please trust me that this is not the place you want to go.

The store is really clean and nice, but also the pharmacy staff is excellent. Specifically, Nikole A went above and beyond for me to make sure that I received the type of generic medication that works best for me. I've tried Walgreens, CVS, even other Rite Aid locations, and none of them were able to help in the way that Nikole was! Beyond that, I liked that Rite Aid has a pay ahead app, and the automatic text messages make it easy to know that my Rx is ready for pick up. All in all I'd highly recommend this location!
