Extremely poor customer service. What is the point of being a "member " if they don't bother to at least Try and help you? They don't take card in person, got a phone call the following day after they promise to call you by the end of the same day.

Actually, wondering how this place stays in business being the worst service I've ever come across in my life I would advise anyone who's affiliated with these people to get away because when you're down they're not around they're just bad news

I have this insurance and they just seem like helping you isn’t it. Asking questions they transfer you to the next person and next. They got attitude. That my experience and I hope you don’t get that experience. Honest review

They do not take debit cards. Incredibly inconvenient - the opposite of what they're supposed to stand for. I saw multiple people, myself included, arrive, wait forever in line, only to be told they can't use their debit card. I mean, who doesn't take debit card these days?

AAA travel department is awful. I tried to use them for a trip to Hong Kong. I called & spoke to an agent. Explained what I needed & they said they would call me back. They never called back. I called again, same thing! I decided to take my business elsewhere, I called Camarillo Travel & Arti helped me front beginning to end. Guess AAA wasn't capable of handling my request? AAA travel is not dependable. Do not use them. By the way Hong Kong was great!!

DO NOT GET LIFE INSURANCE WITH AAAA If I could select ZERO stars, I would! I went with AAA under the impression they are a reputable organization. So I started the process to get life insurance, my initial coverage and rate were great. I went forward with what was initially presented to me and it went into effect immediately. I paid the full premium rather than paying monthly. Overall the process continued with blood work and the results of my blood work actually increased by initial premium by 2x-3x higher. I only got a call from AAA telling me that it was because of Globulin and my ALT. Nothing came in the mail from the lab or what were acceptable ranges. When I was given this news over a phone call I was traveling. While on the call I looked up what the markers were associated with. Globulin - High levels may indicate autoimmune disease, infections or cancer ALT - high levels of ALT may be a sign of liver damage from hepatitis, infection, cirrhosis, liver cancer, or other liver diseases. This fear definitely works in their favor, my agent emphasized the need to have coverage as a result, to be safe and covered. I was so worried I ended up getting it, I had to pay more and reduce my coverage by 50% just to have something. Never did they say that my premiums were not recoverable if I cancelled. I will never again pay full premium up front. During my travel I had this worry and weight on my shoulders about my blood results. As soon as I got back from my vacation I spoke to my doctor and he kindly ordered these two test for me. For me these tests come back completely normal. Why would life insurance use more rigorous markers that health care providers use to monitor patient health, $$$$. Overall my money was taken. Even if I asked to cancel my plan my money will not be returned or prorated. . AAA has a great model where they make and take your money no matter what.

I've been here now five times to do DMV paperwork. I am amazed at how fast and clean the transactions go. Very nice people too. Highly recommended.

I am really dissatisfied with the service I don't know why they can't accept auto payments, spectrum has no problem and edison does just fine taking auto payments every month but AAA seems to just not even try to process a payment and just sends a cancelation notice next thing I know I'm uninsured for 2 or 3 months this is unacceptable and ridiculous I've never had so much trouble with an insurance company

They never pick up and when they do they freaking hang up on you. They also tried to collect on a policy I cancelled and then sent it to collection. Shop around.

They treat their vendor tow truck drivers unfairly and will send you on calls, then refuse to pay for your time & fuel. They state, you have been bird dogged by our area supervisor for AAA. The area rep, grabbed my right arm threatening to give my calls to a larger company, then turned right around & gave it to a tow owner who owns & partners with multiple roadside tow companies. It’s us smaller companies that needed the battery program to survive & with the roadside pay companies get, who can survive these days. Please research before you renew your membership, as there are multiple companies who do Roadside & actually want to help you cuz they care. AAA has you wait for hours in the hot Sun until they can locate a company with a driver or the cheapest quote if out of network but they pretty much all do that. Who knows how far away the drivers are, they want the cheapest deal so the consumers pays the price by having to wait, sometimes extensive hours. No matter how far away we’ve seen folks just be towed off the side of the road or to take your vehicle where they want it to go and not where you’ve asked them to go & you didn’t have a say!!! PITTY Hope they changed the previous upper management at the SoCal office in LA. People are people, not puppets or robots.

Had the worst experience at the Ventura office with travel agent Karin Dicke. Went in to book some train tickets through Scandinavia. She e-mailed to confirm the dates. After not hearing from her again for a couple of weeks, I asked her in an email if she was still working on my reservation. Never heard from her. Two weeks later I went back to again try and book the same reservations. She apologized and assured me I would have an email the next afternoon with the bookings. Never heard from her again. I now booked my own trains. It was somewhat 'involved'. However, travel agents have a lot better resources than we do. Obviously her abilities as a travel agent are lacking, as are her communicating and business skills. Very disappointing that AAA would allow this to happen.

WARNING DO NOT PURCHASE AAA INSURANCE If I could give AAA insurance zero stars I would, they are horrible and I do not recommend anyone buying insurance from them. I purchased automobile insurance from them in September 2022. The 1st hint that it was a shady company was when the wanted me to exclude my daughter who does not live with me from being insured if she drove the car, I also had to sign up for auto pay on the policy I agreed to that arrangement, but after speaking with my husband I decided to cancel the policy, I went in canceled the auto pay, then the calls started on the phone up to 4 calls per day I notified them that I wanted to cancel the policy but no one put notes on my file so the calls continued, I also received emails and I told the person who signed me up that I no longer wanted the insurance. The calls continued as well as a letter stating that if I couldn't prove to the company that I had insurance on the car they would send a notice to the DMV to cancel my Drivers License, I felt I was being bullied by the company whereas I notified them I wanted to cancel their expensive insurance, the calls continued for months then stopped in dec after months of calls as many as 4 calls a day. I was then notified I have a balance due of 93.00 they charged me for 2 additional months of insurance after I canceled the policy, they said I had to bring in proof that the car was insured, I took in proof, but that wasn't good enough they wanted a copy of my policy declarations I feel like that is an invasion of my privacy its none of their business how much the other company is charging me, by the way I only had liability with them the other company is a lower price for full coverage. Lesson learned search around for your insurance get some quotes AAA is a rip off company. Zero stars for customer service.
