A few months ago my wife and I walked in to find a new bed. Despite it being closing time, the owner himself cheerfully jumped into action, made a few great suggestions, and allowed us to sample the display beds they had around the show room. After just a few tries, we found us exactly the bed we were looking for. We walked out after no more than an hour, with a new bed set for delivery. Within two days it was at our house. This was actually the second bed I've bought from them. The first was a full-size. It was very affordable and a perfect bed for a first time bed buyer, college student, or for a guest room. This store is a great resource for your sleep needs in Ventura California!

I visited 2 mattress stores before my GF convinced me to check out the Jesus mattress store (I guess the store paints a giant Jesus on their window for the Holidays). Anyways, when I walked in I was greeted by Justin who gave me a formal break down on mattress manufactures, what I may like, why I may like it, and how it will affect me. The experience was great and I decided to buy then and there. They really do have great prices in comparison to other stores. I found a mattress that I love and have been getting the best sleep ever! Highly recommend everyone to check them out. Don't let the Jesus scare you haha, this store is legit and the service was great. Thanks Justin!

Incredible company, would 10/10 recommend to friends and family members to buy their mattresses here! I forget the gentleman's name who helped us that Sunday afternoon (10-22-2023), though Travis is listed on our invoice, but he was incredibly friendly and helpful. He listened to our price range and the type of mattress we were looking for, then let us lay on multiple beds until we found the perfect one. He was very knowledgeable and explained all of the details including delivery and warranty, and also went over the pros of adding on a mattress safeguard to our purchase as well. All in all, a very pleasant, enjoyable, and easy experience!

I had done some online shopping so I knew what I was looking for in terms of features & pricing but before I pulled the trigger on the purchase I decided to give the local small business a shot. I was shown several matress sets and the sales person explained to me the differences in construction, materials and prices. This helped me to quickly decide which one was right for me at a price that I was happy with. These guys are great & I would not hesitant to shop with them again.

We had shopped around at several mattress stores in town.No where beat the selection and knowledge Paul provided. He even discounted the mattress lower than the listed price. They delivered within 3 days. Wonderful mattress made in USA! If you want to save time go American Mattress. If you want to visit other mattress stores you will find they are not Knowledgeable mattress sales people. Give America Mattress a try.

The showroom is big and there are a lot of choices of price and style. We went twice to make sure the pick was right. The owners were helpful and normalized the fact we all lie down to sleep so it's ok to test them out! So glad we went to this store that is right here in town with a lot to choose from and great people!
