Child vet with no experience. No help at all. Wrong medicines and wrong diagnosis (i went to another vet) .Front desk girl told me something on the phone and when I asked explanation in person she said I was lying. Crazy there are still in business. $$ in the trash.

Definitely stay away from their subscription service, it’s a long contract and you are locked into it.

Our first appointment was cancelled same day because it was Labor Day. Frustrating, but we rescheduled for the next week and the same thing happened, our appointment was cancelled a couple hours beforehand. I would not recommend this Banfield based on these experiences, and am upset because our dog has an ear infection and we were really hoping to take him here, but we will find a different vet.

Awful. I had to go back to the place to get the examination report bc the girl wasn't able/ didn't want to send me the report. First she said it takes 24 hours, then that I gave her a wrong email address. When i got there it was ready! No need to wait 24 hours.I THINK THE DOCTOR DON'T KNOW WHAT S GOING ON AT THE FRONT DESK

Absolutely make sure you call to be sure they're open first. Their hours online are not always correct. Petsmart directed me to go here to get a special card that authorizes me to get prescription food with my authorization from my vet and also believed them to be open. Due to my disability I cannot drive and this means i have to walk since the bus doesnt go by here. I get there an hour before they were supposed to be closed only for them to have closed early. Even their phone line stated the same hours as online.

Banfield in Ventura California is the best. The greet you like you're family. They're so patient with you and your pet. I recommend them to anyone. Thank you Banfield.

We went here to have our beloved dog euthanized due to her pain and not other illness. They were so amazing here. Very sweet staff and let us spend as much time as we wanted with our fur baby.

My dog has a yeast infection and all your vet did was give us some pills to give to our dog ! My dog is scratching non stop all day everyday and all nite pills inst gonna do it she needs treatment she needs some kind of shot! This is rediculous why my wife accepted you giving us pills to give to our dog !

We've had the best experiences here over the last 3 years. We've never had a problem getting an appointment and they always remind us what our 3 dogs are due for on the Wellness Plan. Our one dog was gravely ill due to Kidney Stones (Vet said it was the worst case she'd seen in her experience) and they worked as a team with the Oxnard Banfield to save my sweet Coco girl's life. We'll forever be grateful!!!!

Once they began answering their phones and I was able to book appointments, I've had nothing bad to say. The receptionists are helpful, nurses are nice, and the DRs care. Have, had, both my pets there and they leave happy and taken care of majority of the time. Only exception is when they the care is above their expertise and in those cases, they always find me an ER that can take me ASAP - saving me the burden. The reviews stating that people are stopping their OWPs make no sense when they can just go to another Banfield. Which is something I like about Banfield. Also - Frank says thank you for the stuffed animal!

My dog has been their client for 10 yrs. I believe they do what they say they do, I don't know cause you never get to see what happens in the back and you rarely get to talk face to face with the Vet caring for your pet. She goes in twice a year which can't be bad. She's elderly now and alive; She has been on the dental plan off and on but the pulling of teeth very costly and not included in monthly payments. Also it's very stressful when they call while she's under anesthesia and needs an answer that's usually a large sum of money. The staff is usually helpful, polite, knowledgeable and have only one animal tech bringing in your animal and bringing out. Like most people I love my dog and knew I needed the reassurance that she had best chance at a lifetime of health and wellness.

They have taken good care of my cats, have good specialized care plans and were very compassionate when I lost my kitty recently. My old vet had them take over his practice when he retired.
