Holy shit! The absolute worst possible customer service via Citibank customer care over the phone. I mean I wanted to pull my hair out and bang my head on a wall. I'm talking about speaking with Citibank over the phone.... The employees at the Citibank on Victoria are amazing but on the phone the absolute worst. I'm literally going to tell every single person I meet from here on out forever and ever not to bank with Citibank , you can't lose in life if you just stay away from Citibank no doubt

Would give zero stars if I could. Citibank returned my tax payment checks because they weren't "activated". Which is insane??!! I asked for a letter or email to explain why they were returned so that I could give it to the tax board so that they'd waive the penalties. The lady I spoke with at this branch just flat out refused, then hung up on me when I said I was contacting an attorney. This bank is disgusting and needs to be shut down.

Citibank stole my money, and I came to this branch for help. They refused and gave me the run around. I was forced to file a lawsuit to get my money back from Citibank. Citibank went out of its way to block me and waste my time. The branch manager at this branch treated me in a despicable and racist manner. In front of me, he openly offered $500 cash to nonwhite persons walking through the bank in exchange for a new $15,000 deposit. I asked if that offer was good for me, and was told "no". I'm white. Citibank is about to go under. Dishonest company.

The deterioration of customer service here is mind boggling. I actually feel bad for the staff, many of whom have good intentions, but Citibank's corporate priorities seem to be shifting away from retail banking, leaving the well-intentioned staff powerless when helping customers. I have been a Citibank customer for more than 20 years and the general incompetence total lack of professionalism of the "managers" at this branch is probably the worst I've seen. They are exceptionally dismissive of customers, operate on an appointment-only basis and then don't show up for those appointments.

The level of service you receive at this branch hinges completely on who the person you end up working with is, and whether or not an actual adult manager is on duty. My family had banked at this branch for decades, but the number of competent staff members has sharply declined in the last several years. These days I will go to any other citibank branch just to avoid the ill suited crew that is usually on staff at this one. That being said, I have worked with a some top notch people here, and I have nothing but the utmost respect for them, their level of professionalism and their willingness to follow through. Currently those sterling individuals are quite rare here, but chirpy, rude, unfocused staff who have great difficulty managing simple tasks (even when it is spelled it out for them in the simplest of terms) are plentiful. If you must use this branch, avoid off hours when the professionals aren't in attendance, otherwise just choose another branch...any other branch.

Great bank to do business with. Big shout out to Angel Hernandez for his knowledge and professionalism. Angel helped up set up the right accounts based on our goals and needs. Easy to do business with. The entire staff is great! I rarely go into a bank anymore but really enjoyed my last few visits at Citi on Victoria.

I have never done a Yelp Review on any bank. I have to say most banks are not that personable. Most people work ham banks don't seem to really reach out and try to get to know you as a human being. But I have to tell you boss branch of citibank does an exceptional job at making H and every customer feel like they are important no matter how much money or investments they have in the bank. The branch manager knows almost every single person's name. And Angel Henandez who is a personal banker there Is one of the most thoughtful people I have ever met in his industry. Everyone who works there is definitely about handling your money the right way. By angel stands out as someone who cares about you not only as a client but a human being. He goes out of his way to make sure that you are well taken care of. My husband and I don't have a lot of money but the money we have we have worked very hard for and when it came time to refinance citibank, Because of angel Hernandez, Has taken very good care of us. I so appreciate the branch manager at this city bank because she really does care about every single Client. She always has a smile and is very pleasant. All of the tellers there seemed to be happy. If they are not they sure are not showing it. Thank you citibank for hiring such stellar people.

Although attempting internet access and dealing with Citibank itself is so customer unfriendly, the help from the bankers at this branch is exemplary. Last month, Adilene Soto patiently helped to unravel the ridiculously complicated procedures for accessing online banking. This month, Angel Hernandez was so kind in helping to navigate Citibank's rules. TLDR: Citibank sucks. Adilene & Angel are wonderful, patient, and knowledgeable.

At first this branch seemed welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately, they really aren't very good at customer service away from the teller window. I waited half an hour for an accounts person after being told "I'll be right with" and putting my name on a list with no one on it. There were 3 people at desks and only one working with another customer. After he finished with that customer, he said, I'll be right with you. He walked off behind the teller counter. I waited another half hour and he never returned. This made me regret that I had opened an account with them and is why I will likely close it.

No Customer Service. Was there to open an account. There were no one at the New Accounts area. Waited for over an hour. Then the guy walks in and helps another customer that walked in after me and I had already signed in.

One of the MANY reasons I will NEVER have direct deposit is because I hate most banks and would never do anything to make their life easier. I am leaving Citibank soon to probably go to a credit union or just not use banks at all. Citi has 10 windows in most branches and usually it's just one, maybe two of them open. You literally wait for 20-30 minutes even if there are only two customers. They give you no interest and I have quite a bit of money saved then they keep shortening their hours and staff!!! I mean come on your closed on Saturdays now and open at 10AM??? You guys are HORRIBLE now. BYE BYE Citi Bank.

The absolute worst customer service. I can't get over them . My son purchased from amazon. There was a duplicate charge , which amazon took responsibility for . They gave us a transaction number , and we relayed it to the bank . 6 days go by . My son is leaving for Canada and the money is still not in his bank. We talk to a rep who states they can not give temporary credit) but would transfer us to fraud dept. This rude lady tells him it could take 90 days to return his $ . Unreal . We go round and round and was hung up on 2 times . Take your business somewhere else . They do not protect there customers and expect you to fix things by your self . I have dealt with many different banks and never had this issue

Seriously the worst bank I've ever been too. In a day and age when banks like Wells Fargo & Chase welcome you with a greater at the door and thankful for your business. Not here. Nope , CITI bank has THE rudest tellers I have ever experienced in my life. What bank opens at 10:00 am M-F? I wish I could give 0 stars.
