Putting our daughter in Sonshine preschool is probably one of THE BEST decisions we have ever made. From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew Sonshine was special. The director, Annette, and staff go truly go above and beyond to create a nurturing environment that fosters not only learning but also emotional and social development. The teachers are not just educators; they are compassionate mentors who understand the unique needs of each child.One aspect that truly sets Sonshine apart is their innovative curriculum. It's not just about academics; it's about providing a well-rounded experience for the children. The blend of structured learning activities, creative play, and outdoor exploration ensures that each day is filled with excitement and new discoveries. I appreciate how the curriculum is designed to cater to different learning styles, allowing every child to thrive at their own pace.Communication with the staff has been exceptional. Regular updates, parent-teacher meetings, and open lines of communication make me feel involved in my child's learning journey. The transparency and willingness to address any concerns create a strong sense of partnership between parents and the school.The facilities at Sonshine are top-notch, providing a safe and stimulating environment for the children. The well-equipped classrooms, age-appropriate play areas, and attention to cleanliness all contribute to a positive and enriching experience.Sonshine places a significant emphasis on instilling values such as kindness, respect, and teamwork. The thoughtful approach aligns with our family values, and we can see the positive impact it has on our child's behavior and interactions with peers.My daughter attended a different preschool last year and her experience was nothing close in comparison. At her old preschool, she dreaded attended and would pretend to be sick (not even kidding, and she was only 2!). Now at Sonshine, she's attending 5 days/week and has been asking me to sign her up for extended care. She tells me she "feels so loved" when she is at school and is absolutely THRIVING.Overall, I am incredibly grateful for Sonshine and the experience we have had while attending there. I wholeheartedly recommend Sonshine to any parent seeking a nurturing environment for their little ones. We couldn't ask for anything more!

It is hard to put into words how wonderful Sonshine Preschool is. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly that it feels like you're walking into a second "home" when you drop your little ones off at school there. Both of my daughters have excelled at Sonshine, and they have learned so much over the last two years that I know they will thrive in Kindergarten and beyond. The teachers are kind and caring, and they know how to nurture preschool-aged children so that they learn through play and feel excited to go to school each day. They also communicate well with parents, and I am thankful to be aware of how my girls are doing and what they are working on at school each day and week. The office manager is kind and effective; she also sends out regular communication and replies quickly to emails, calls, and inquiries.The director of Sonshine is so well organized and so approachable and warm hearted; under her direction, the school has taken important and effective steps to ensure that students, staff, and families stay safe during the pandemic. The school is clean and well equipped with a lovely little playground and a bike/trike area as well. I highly recommend Sonshine to anyone looking for a nurturing environment for their young children. If you're considering sending your child (or children) to Sonshine, I urge you to schedule a visit- we felt the warm and welcoming feeling there right from day one.
