All of the customer service people here are great. But Bill....... well he's amazing. I saw that he was with the post office since 1968! He's just the right mix of business-like, but friendly, no nonsense he makes things happen quickly solve problems quickly. So much so that I felt like I needed to leave a review reflecting this. Good job folks.

The Post Office keeps putting package keys in my mailbox, and when I open the package locker, it’s empty. Please stop doing that. It’s a waste of my time and yours. This is the 5th time already.

The two guys in control at Ventura refused to rent me a P.O.Box, 2 forms of ID. They tossed my paperwork at me two times.I am 5 th Gen. American. They claim I must live in Ca. to get a P.o box. $$$ lost. This must change. 0 stars

Service is beyond terrible. The old man at the counter was the epitome of rude, genuinely couldn’t understand any of my questions and acted way too impolite, worse off is that nobody else was available who could understand better at the questions I had, wouldn’t go here again.

Was third in line and wasn’t seen until 30-40 mins later. It took roughly 10-15 mins for the worker to help one person.

This location is awful. Waited in line for 35 minutes to mail a package. The older man working was very unhelpful. I asked a question about how the computer wrote out the address. He told me I could step out of line, find the answer to my question and get back in line.
I asked a question about how the computer wrote the address not about the address. To suggest I step out and wait another 30 minutes is absurd. This location needs to have more than one employee working and the employees really should be required to have some reliable customer service.
I will use UPS before coming back here.
Waste of time.

This is just the post office that is closest to me. The parking here is not that great. There's like street parking only unless I missed a parking lot or something. The line is always long here for staff. Luckily, I only come here to drop off packages I already weighed, paid, and labeled myself.

Thieves thieves thieves. I was expecting an insurance check via priority mail. Informed delivery showed that this check would arrive last Monday. Mysteriously it has been a week and it never showed up in my mailbox. I have a locked mailbox so they can’t claim it was stolen by anyone else other than an employee. I received the email to the manager of this location and this person has yet to reply to my message. I’ve gone in person to ask what is happening and I’m given the runaround and gaslit. “After a week it’s considered lost.” “Are you sure you locked your mailbox?” TERRIBLE customer service and no empathy towards my situation.

Bill at the front desk is a bitter old man. Clearly has no family that loves him. He was rude to everyone in line , and my sweet wife and I were no exception. Glad we waited in line for 30 minutes while he slowly goes about his day, only for him to turn us away. We went to another USPS and were helped immediately and kindly.

I appreciate the convenient location of this office, and the staff was very kind and helpful to me when I stopped in to establish a P.O. Box. Multiple staff members helped me and explained all of the details of billing and the various benefits that come with my new box. Very quickly I was set up with the box and walked out with two keys, for me and my wife. I certainly recommend using this post office and I’m excited by the new service I established!
