The San Bernardino County Fairgrounds, officially known as the 28th District Agricultural Association, is an 84-acre facility located in the High Desert region of San Bernardino County. The fairgrounds host the annual San Bernardino County Fair, as well as a variety of other events throughout the year, including the High Desert Home Show, the Victorville Gun Show, concerts, community meetings, celebrations, and public and private events. Visitors have had mixed experiences at the fairgrounds. While the facility is well-maintained and clean, some have found the annual fair to be smaller than expected, with a limited variety of vendors and food options that were considered overpriced. The animal exhibits, however, were a highlight for many, with the animals appearing well-cared for. The fairgrounds offer easy parking, and the combined cost of admission and parking is reasonable compared to other events. The scheduled events and entertainment, particularly those geared towards families with young children, have been noted as potential draws. Overall, while the fairgrounds provide a decent experience, some visitors have expressed that they may not return unless the attractions and overall experience are significantly improved.
