Decent place. They help with mail, Showers, hot meals, and a place to sleep. Helping people get back on their feet and get treated for drug abuse. Good people helping others.

Due to being lesbian and not married, even if, together for 12 years, my family would be separated. On top of that, my wife's 16 year old crime would get her sent to another location down the hill, they also wanted control of the 2000 I had plus any other income received "to hold." Couldn't do it.

Very rude if i could give 0 stars i would, one of the associates Dora was very rude… I guess don’t try on shoes unless you’d like to receive a cut from the staples located inside the shoes.

When I have items to donate I always call the Victor Valley Rescue Mission first. They come to your home and pick up everything right out of the area that you designated for them. You can also drive to Victorville and drop everything off to them. They will unload everything for you and are so grateful and happy to receive whatever you donate to them. Everyone is so nice and friendly here it gives me a good feeling to know that I may be helping out.

Amalia at the women's house on Manzano was the worst woman in the world! I hope she reads this! She basically tortured my mom while she needed to stay there. Finding reasons to get my mom kicked out. They have microphones in the house listening to conversations. Nit picking at her. She's 7 months sober from alcohol and it seemes like she was doing everything she could to get my mom to relapse. Now she has no where to go and I'm struggling to find housing for her. Amalia needs to be FIRED from that place. They state they are religious based but nothing about that place was religious.

Bill Edwards is really the heart and soul of this non-profit org.He is extremely knowledgeable of resources that are available and is also well connected with the community of Victorville.A great place to start if you find yourself in a way your are unaccustomed, or if you just wish to do something for others, check in and inquire about volunteering.
