I took my Honda Civic here because I received a referral from someone saying that they do great work on Hondas. Overall my experience was great- the owner was responsive, price was fair, the service was done on time (per expected time frame). I will continue to take my car in here for services.

I've been taking my cars to Foreign Auto Works for years, and have never been disappointed. Mark is the greatest! I always feel that he is doing everything he can to help me, never to take advantage of me. I highly recommend Mark and his shop.

Mark and Pete at Foreign Auto works are the best mechanics in Visalia. I've been taking my cars here for 20 years and have always been satisfied and never been been disappointed. They only work on Toyota and Honda and related models. I literally purchased my Toyota Camry because I knew Foreign Auto Works could maintain it for me. Besides being expert mechanics, Mark and Pete are honest, kind and fair. Five stars really isn't enough, so consider it 5 stars plus! If you own a Toyota or Honda in Visalia, there's simply no question about it: Foreign Auto Works is the place to go.

This is a dependable and trustworthy shop. Mark is considerate and I’m very happy with the work they did on my 22 year old Toyota van. And a tip of the cap to Chuck at Visalia Import Services. He recommended Foreign Auto since he was so backed up, saying it’s the only place other than his own shop that he trusts. Thanks to both.

My car didn't start and I had to get it towed. I am not from here so I didn't know where to go. I saw this shop and it had great reviews. So I called, the owner answered and he was so nice. He took care of my car right away. I didn't have to wait long and he seemed so honest. This place is genuinely a wonderful place to go. It will be my go to shop in the future.

We have depended upon Mark and his employees to maintain our vehicles for many, many years. We have recommended him to friends who also own foreign vehicles. He is reliable, dependable, thorough and prices are reasonable. When he says a vehicle will be ready a a specific time, it always is.

I found Foreign Auto Works by looking up the Yelp reviews for mechanics in Visalia. Mark was able to quickly diagnose and fix the oil leak in my Lexus RX300. He also did a tuneup and the car is running smoothly. I was lucky to find such an expert mechanic to fix my car in Visalia who is honest and fair.

Right away I observed Mark was not friendly. I took my car in for an evap system leak. I already used a code reader so I knew the problem. Google shows that repair shouldn't be more than 200$ even for the worst leak. I was quoted at 95$. Four days later my car was done and Mark charged me 330$! He said it was because he also had to replace the gas cap with a Honda gas cap (on line the most expensive gas cap I could find was 35$).I have a family and 330$ is devastating to us. I feel like I got scammed. I don't know if he does this to all his customers but I have a Bernie bumper sticker and he had a pro Trump sticker in his garage, coincidence? I'll be warning all my friends, customers, and coworkers and Mark's shop.
