I've been to numerous amounts of game stores in CA, but this was the first one where the whole staff knew what they were talking about. ?

I visited GameQore Sept. 2022 and recently in Sept. 2023 (a year apart) and both times the customer service and personalities of staff were top notch. I found GQ last year, loved it, and had to return during a visit to the in-laws! They have a TON of MTG singles to peruse and also sell other card games, D&D, Pathfinder, etc., etc.

I really love this store. Every time I'm in the area I stop by. They have everything your sweet gamer heart desires! They have table top games, video games, card games, wacky games I've never even seen before! Minis, dice, merch, and so much more. The staff is helpful, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Definitely one of the coolest game stores I've ever seen.

Game Qore - A small, rustic gem in the center of old VisaliaI have visited Game Qore many times over the last decade as I work in cities nearby. Upon first entry, you will learn one thing - the staff is there to help you! I personally play Magic the Gathering and love that, if you come in with a list of cards you want, the friendly staff will look those cards up and help you find them - from Bulk to Mythic!I have visited dozens of game stores accross the country. Many fail to maintain a reasonable collection, a clean environment, and friendly staff. To this extent, Game Qore has you solid, trying to equally support all card games and TTRPGs while keeping things clean and organized. While it looks like the store is on the cusp of making some big changes to help their community, I have no doubt they will continue to supply guests with a relaxing environment to play and collect MtG. All the more important for people like myself who only have a few days a month to take a Ranger break and visit their local game store.

It feels like they are only in business because they are the only store in Visalia.I've been to a lot of game stores, but here they don't really put the 'Friendly' into Friendly Local Game Store. Every time we are in there, unless directly helping a customer, it always seems like all of the employees are just hanging out. Which is weird because they literally have boxes of miniatures sitting on the floor.Their community also seems not that great. Have been told by multiple employees they have a great D&D game that anyone can join, but every time I've gone in the group has started 15 minutes before the time they say, ignored everyone who wasn't already in their group and doesn't feel like a game people can actually go in and join.My girlfriend also has had the employees stare at her and watch her around the store and they make her uncomfortable. There have been time I have attended an event and she was in the front of the store and they have come up to her asking "do you know what system that is for" despite us having been in multiple times and having talked to them about the systems. Really just fitting the stereotype of gatekeeping and acting like women don't know about games. In a vacuum, having a game store is better than not having a game store in town. But I'm much more likely to drive 30-45 minutes to Hanford or Fresno for a game store where I actually feel welcomed and a part of the community.

Awesome little game store with almost everything you can think of for table games. There is also a weekly D&D game on Tuesdays from 4pm to close.

They have MOSTLY everything ranging from board games to retro video games like Gameboys, old Nintendo collections, and card games. They carried MTG mostly. Think a few Vanguards though! But for Yugioh and Digimon, there are decent quantity in stock. They DON'T carry singles, only packs and starter/structure boxes. The rooms are very limited - think it fits 10-12 people at most.
