The people in the office were weird and rude. We didn’t get the car we wanted, and the car we did get was horrible.

Staff courteous and helpful for the most part. Clerk who checked me in was extra courteous.
My only gripe was that their discount was only for AAA @ 5% No discount for other organizations like military or senior etc...

We Rented a car for the weekend, Veronica always give us an exceptional service, she's so nice and friendly! We can feel she appreciate customers. Definitely our favorite rental car company because of the customer service we get!

Very good rental place much better than enterprise. Enterprise was way too expensive way too expensive on their deposits. Hertz was way better really nice people came in good stuff

Worst Hertz location I have rented a car from. The hours are so inconvenient and they take 1 hours lunch from 12-1. The branch manager is not helpful at all and they are so rude. They just give you they car they want and to top it off, car was not even washed or cleaned.
I had to select 1 star to write review but if it was up to me, Negative starts.

Booked Hertz in Visalia because all the other rental car shops around town were booked during the farm show. I am lucky that they had some vehicles available and allowed me to drop it off at the fresno airport. The lady who helped us and checked me in was very helpfulandmade sure she did a good walk around before I checked out. The car we received had a lot of scratches and stains and was best up a but, but she documented it all with pics and videos. I would come back and rent from Hertz again here in Visalia. We got a Nissan rogue.

Waited in the lobby for 30 minutes only to find out that the reservation that I prepaid for which was the seven seater SUV. They told me they did not have a car, but they did have a car sitting which they said was slightly more expensive. They said they don’t have any other seven cedar and if I want the only seven seater that they have I have to pay hundred dollars a day for four days. Mind you I pay $220 for four day total rental when I booked for a seven seater. They take advantage of people‘s Situation especially mine when I needed the car in the morning early. They told me to cancel the reservation, I told them it was nonrefundable and they replied to tell me that let the customer service know we were trying to give you an EV and they will cancel it.

I made a reservation to pickup the rental on a Saturday. The location decided to update its hours to be closed on Saturdays sometime after making the reservation. The owner and corporation are incompetent morons for not having their employees give a call or heads up that hours would be updated and the rental would not be available. Now I’m without a vehicle needed for a biz trip. If you’re considering using this location don’t. As an insurance agent I’ll be referring my customers to Enterprise from here out. Don’t bother leaving an AI generated response apologizing because it means squat. If you valued business and truly cared I would have received a call during the week providing a heads up.

Waited for an hour at the office to find out that my reservation could not be filled because they were "too busy" to call me to let me know. I called corp 800 number to get a resolution, first lady kept telling me they have cars available then hung up, the next person put me on hold for 20 mins then hung up. Embarrassing.

Their wall air conditioner smells soooo bad. It like smelling a pile of dirty rags blowing throughout the room. Then in the back where the cars are everything is dirty the walls the carpets the large trash by the door was over flowing by the door. It was just disgusting! Their cars aren't even washed with bugs from other drivers using them.

Great help after the car we rented in NYC ran a slow leak in downtown LA. The receptionist helped us get it fixed elsewhere in Visalia within 2 hours.
